What Say I?

What say I?
I say it depends on you, and what are relationship is.
People like other people to see the best in them, as much for their sake as our own.
If you know and like someone and want them to know you, you tell them about yourself.
You show them the best in you, so they know how good you are.
What say I?
I say, if you know and like someone, and want them to know you, you show them your worries, your tears, and your darkest secrets.
Then, it is up to that person to accept you for who you are, or shun you for doing what they could not.
Truth be told the latter is far more common than the former.
So the question is, am I the type you would like to keep as someone who sees the best in you?
Or, do you trust me enough to show me your true self and let me find the good in you for myself?
To ones own heart one's own faults burdens oneself the most.
If you tell someone they either have to take some of the burden, or, thrust it back upon that individual making it all the heavier.
So, I ask you.

Do you trust me?
