Roses are red, violets are blue,
this is so over done, so here's what I'll do.
I'll give this cheesy rhyme a brand-new twist,
but keep the cheese in what I now list.
The sky is blue, and white is dove,
and would you like cheese served with my love?
For my cheesy love calls out for you,
for going out is better when done with two.
Ghosts are white, and green is my envy,
for that's all I have when you are not with me.
so stay by my side, till morning is nigh,
and a happy ending we'll have at the end of a lull-a-bye.
Green of grass, and orange of sun,
I count the days till we are one.

I marked my calendar for early next spring.
Oranges are orange, and cheese is yellow,
