"Yes!" I lift up my arms in relief as Jay climbs out of his car holding my brown leather clutch from last night. "Where was it?"

"Right where you said, in the console." He replies.

"Thank you so much for driving it over." I praise and then turn around to walk into work.

"No worries," he replies. "Are you rushing to get away from me again?"

I turn back around awkwardly and see him watching me with a confused expression upon his face. "Uh, look, I was just in a relationship that, that fell apart. So--"

"So I guess this is good-bye forever?" He asks and extends his hand. I hit it away with my clutch playfully.

"I owe you one."

"A marker. I like that." He laughs. "What's it good for?"

"Come to Molly's tomorrow night and find out." I smile and then walk inside the station.

"Squad 3, Ambulance 61. Car in water. 330 West Lower Wacker."

"Driver lost control and barreled right through the guard rail." A cop tells us and shows us to the waters edge.

"Anyone come up?" asks Kelly.

"Not since I got here." The cop shakes his head.

"How many in the vehicle?"

"No idea."

Kelly gets suited up and then they dives into the water, being held by a rope at the top and we stand aside waiting for our patients to be brought to the surface.

After a while Capp shakes his head, "give him a tug." He says and Clarke tries tugging the rope but nothing happens. "Something's wrong. Try him again."

"Rope's caught on something," replies Clarke but he carries on pulling. "Damn it, he's off line." He announces and pulls the rope out of the water which is all frayed at the end. My usual panic mode sets in and thoughts of Kelly in pain and not making it back cloud my mind. When it comes to him I never stop worrying, no matter what situation we're in.

A few minutes later the surface starts bubbling and Severide pops out the top holding an unconscious man. I instantly start chest compressions and Dawson intubates. "Morgan, grab me the monitor." she says and I jog to the ambo to get it.

I keep glancing at Sev to make sure he's okay but he's absolutely fine, focusing on whether the patient is going to survive however he unfortunately doesn't.

"You worry to much," he mutters when we start preparing the procedure for DOA's.

"Stop scaring the living day lights out of me then." I reply and he smirks, shaking his head at me. He knows I still care and love him and he finds it funny. I on the other hand, do not.

"Great news, guys." Herrmann comes into the common room. "I just got our beer distributor to comp us two kegs for the promotion."

"Way to hustle, Herrmann." replies Otis and they first bump each other.

"Good beer or cheap beer?" I frown.

"Free beer," he grins.

"Meanwhile, I still need 200 signatures to secure my nomination." Mouch speaks up.

"Relax, all right? We'll get there." promises Herrmann.

"Hey, you know, Mouch, you should meet my friend, Isabella." Dawson says. "She spent the last two years in D.C. working for some congressman. And she's back home now trying to start up her own political consulting firm."
