"Beth, can I please talk to you?" Quinn requested as she put their dinner plates in the dishwasher.

"You already did." Beth said.

"You're a big girl, right?" Quinn asked. "I can trust you with things?"

Beth nodded.

"Let's sit down together. Come on." Quinn said.

Quinn sat down on the couch in their little New Haven apartment. Beth hesitated.

"Come on." Quinn repeated.

Beth walked over and sat next to Quinn on the couch.

"I want you to know that I still love Daddy a lot." Quinn began.

"Then why did you break up?" Beth asked.

"He's too busy right now, and he thought a break up would be best." Quinn explained. "But no matter what happens with us, we both still love you very, very much."

"I love you, Mommy." Beth told Quinn as he climbed onto her lap and hugged her. "I don't hate you."

"I'm glad, B." Quinn said. "I love you."

Beth kissed Quinn's cheek. "You're the best Mommy in the whole world."

Quinn smiled happily. "I'm so lucky that I have you."

Beth grinned and hugged Quinn tightly.

Quinn stood up and held Beth on her hip. "You're getting a little big to be carried everywhere, little bee."

"I bet Daddy could carry me." Beth teased.

"Why don't we go put on pajamas and watch a movie?" Quinn suggested.

Beth nodded. "Do I have to take a bath first?"

"Yes you do." Quinn answered. "Let's go start the water. We'll watch a movie after."

Quinn helped Beth take a quick bath. When she was done, they both put on pajamas. They climbed into Quinn's bed and put on a movie.

Quinn brushed Beth's hair while they watched Tangled. Beth had beautiful soft blonde curls. Quinn loved them.

"Mommy, is Tana coming to your graduation?" Beth asked.

"Yes, and Finn and Rachel are coming, Grandma is coming, and Daddy is coming." Quinn told Beth.

"Grandma is coming? When?" Beth wondered.

"She'll be here next Sunday morning." Quinn informed Beth.

Beth nodded. She leaned her head against Quinn's chest and went silent as she continued to watch the movie.
