As soon as Puck left, Quinn got in the shower. When she was done, she got out and changed into a pink knee-length skirt and a white top with a bibbed collar. She blow-dried and curled her hair before moving onto her makeup. Quinn applied mascara, eyeliner, and concealer. She finished her makeup with red lipstick.

When she was ready to go out, she decided to decorate the apartment. Every year, she got Beth a birthday banner, so she hung that up in its usual place. She taped two balloons to the walls next to the banner and put up streamers.

Quinn froze when someone knocked on the door. "Who is it?"

"Santana and Brittany." Santana responded.

"Come in!" Quinn called.

The Latina and the blonde walked in with big smiles.

"Hi, Quinn." Santana said as she hugged her.

"This is for Beth." Brittany added, handing Quinn a beautifully wrapped gift before hugging her.

"Thank you." Quinn smiled as they parted.

Santana looked around the living room. "Is there anything else you need to get done?"

"I have to wrap Beth's present." Quinn answered. "You two can help with that, if you want."

"What'd you get her?" Santana wondered.

"A bike." Quinn replied. "Noah's gonna teach her how to ride it."

"How are we supposed to wrap a bike?" Brittany questioned Quinn.

Quinn looked at her. "It's in a big box."

Quinn got the box from her bedroom and grabbed wrapping paper, tape, and scissors.

The girls got to work. Brittany held the box, Santana cut the paper, and Quinn taped it. They made a good team.

There was another knock on the door.

"Come in!" Quinn yelled.

Finn, Rachel, Kurt, and Dave entered the apartment.

Quinn greeted each of them and thanked them for coming. "Make yourselves comfortable."

Finn greeted Santana and Brittany before sitting down on the couch with Rachel. "What's that?"

"Beth's bike." Quinn answered.

"Where's Noah?" Kurt wondered.

"He went to Beth's school to celebrate her birthday with the class." Quinn replied as she glanced at her watch. "They should be back soon."

"Is anyone else coming?" Rachel questioned Quinn.

"Sarah, Marley, and Jake." Quinn responded.

Rachel knew how much Quinn disliked Jake. She smiled slightly. "Well, you look great, Quinn."

"Doesn't she?" Santana grinned. "I don't know how it's even possible for you to be a mother of a six year old."

"Teen pregnancy does that." Quinn shrugged. "Can I get you guys anything to drink? Noah has beer in the fridge."

"I'm okay." Finn said. "Thanks."

"Yeah, me, too." Dave nodded.

"You can sit your ass down and let me help myself to Puck's beer." Santana grinned as she got up and dragged Brittany to the kitchen with her.

Quinn sat down obediently.

"So, how are things with Noah?" Kurt asked.

"Things are really great." Quinn replied. "I'm going to his last show at the end of this month in New York, and he's gonna take some time off to spend the summer with us."

"That's great, Quinn." Rachel smiled. "If you two ever need a babysitter, Finn and I are available."

Finn nodded. "Absolutely. I can't wait for you and Beth to be living in New York."

"Same." Kurt agreed. "We can go shopping more."

"Oh, please take my boyfriend shopping." Quinn begged. "He still wears clothes he wore in high school."

Kurt gasped. "Considering Noah doesn't own any designer clothes, that's a sin against nature."

Quinn laughed and looked at Karofsky. "How are you, Dave? It's been a while."

Karofsky nodded. "It has. I'm good. Thanks for inviting me, by the way."

"Of course." Quinn smiled. "And I promise to make sure Noah behaves."

Karofsky smiled back.
