1 - YOU
"Finally home!" you thought and closed the door behind you.
Your mom was not home yet so you just walked straight into your room after taking off your shoes. Tiredly, you fell into your bed and closed your eyes a little.
How you hated school. Waking up early, seeing all those people you didn't even like and learning all those things you didn't take interest in... it was horrible. Well yes, you were no bad student (not at all because your mother would take your wifi away if you had bad grades haha noo) and maybe sometimes, but only sometimes, you were interested in what your teachers taught you.
At the end of the day, laying in bed and watching your favorite Youtuber was better though. And that was exactly what you were about to do now.
His channel name was felixdaily, but he had another channel for games called gameswithfelix. Oh and he recently dyed his hair: it went from black to brown to golden blonde.
If there was one thing you loved it was him and his content. There was also the fact that he was very hardworking and intelligent, having graduated with perfect grades. And he was also living in Australia. That, of course, was a big bonus for him because if he ever had a meet and greet you would be able to attend it.
The thing about him and his channel was, that you were kind of there with him from the start when he had only about one or two thousand subscribers. You had found him on twitter because he started following you (to gain followers and subscribers but that was okay).
You were always there to comment on his videos, saying he should keep going. You were always there to promote him on social media, be it crappy drawings or a link to his video. You even were one of the first people ever to send him fan mail. It was three years ago and you sent him a Pokemon plushie, Eevee to be exact, because it reminded you of him and it was his birthday.
Back then, he would take his time to respond to your comments from time to time and sometimes even answer questions you asked. You and his other fans were a close knitted community and because you had all those memories and had met all those nice people through him you would always stay loyal to him.
Felix had almost one million subscribers now. He was able to make a living off Youtube and his channel was constantly gaining subscribers. Of course he could not interact with his fans as he used to, which meant you often missed talking to him in the comments but you of course were really happy that he was able to do what he loved.
A few month ago he went to visit his relatives in Korea and he happened to be at the same airport as a very popular K-pop group, called Got7. He took a picture with one or two of the guys after noticing that many people were trying to do that and it blew up on twitter because of him being as handsome as the idol he was in the picture with.
A few weeks later, he made a reaction video to that exact groups music video, because he thought they were really nice, which got a ton of views.
And a week after that, he covered a K-pop song of that group, Got7 again which reached over one million views in less than a week.
And a few days after that, he had gained over 5oo.ooo subscribers. You shook your head and smiled. Those K-pop fans were really something.
You liked a few songs of a few groups as well, but you were too occupied supporting Felix to really get into any groups and sometimes the strength of those fandoms really scared you. Just the fact, that Felix was now a really big youtuber, just because he took a picture with some of those idols, made a reaction video and a cover of one of their songs.... it was incredible how dedicated those fans were, to stan someone just because they stanned their group.
But of course, if it weren't for Felix incredible handsomeness, his funny personality and his hidden rap and singing skills he wouldn't have captured that many hearts. You were actually so surprised that he could sing and rap. Yes, he let something about liking to sing and rap slide at some point, but you never thought it would be that good.
Today was Wednesday. Wednesday meant Felix would upload something random, but you knew he would upload a Q&A video because he asked for questions on twitter last week.
You were right, he had just uploaded his video and you started to watch. There had not been a Q&A for quite some time and many people didn't know him that well yet, so he answered many questions he had already answered in his very early videos.
Felix answered things like his favourite color (black and red), games (pokemon, lol, overwatch), movies (HP, Captain America), what he thought about this or that, if he could speak korean (yes he could, but not fluently) and many more.
You commented, liked and shared, as always and then went to go on Instagram. You had two fanaccounts dedicated to Felix.
One was a really popular one, you had with one of his early fans. You and her had started that account pretty early and many people followed it now.
The other one was your own, more personal fanaccount, with very few followers. You made it a few month ago because you missed just posting whenever you liked and having a nice little, beautiful, Felix-themed feed.
On that big account, you and your internet friend had to post daily so it wasn't really anything but a memespam and update account, that gave shoutouts to good fanartists or other good sites. After posting a few things you went on your other account to just chill and see what other people had posted while you were in school.
After that, you started to like things on your explore page as well when you suddenly got a follow and shortly after a message.
You clicked on the account before agreeing to chat, to see what kind of person it was.
As soon as you saw that it was someone who decided to make a fanaccount for Felix, you followed back and agreed to chatting, because hey, there was nothing to lose. Only another internet friend to win.
king-of-dabbing: hi
felixsqueen: hello~~~ welcome to the fandom
king-of-dabbing: aw thank you :)
king-of-dabbing: so you like felix as well?
king-of-dabbing: when did you find him?
felixsqueen: haha I found him almost three years ago, his account was really small back then, hby?
The user had read your message but did not respond. Weird. Maybe they had gone to sleep.
