Everything needs two people. Even a lie.
Someone who lies and someone who doesn't notice being lied to. In that case both need to exist for the lie to exist.
Sometimes, a lie is better than the truth, if the truth hurts. That's what some people say. But in the end, if the liar gets caught, wouldn't it hurt more being lied to, than hearing the truth?
Wouldn't the fact that someone lied to you, someone you trusted, rip your heart to shreds, no matter how harsh the truth might be?
Trust is something that has to be earned.
When you trust someone you expect them to be honest.
If they break your trust, what will be left?
A relationship without trust is like a body without soul, just hollow, empty, sad.
But sometimes, can you only blame the liar?
What if the liar feels like he needs to lie, to protect another person? If it was a lie with a good intention, why does it still hurt?
And what if the person that is being lied to makes it too easy for the liar?
What if that person closes their eyes before any signs, doesn't want to see what seems to be reality, what seems to be explaining things?
What if the person being lied to just ignores the truth?
