3 - YOU
A week went by. Nothing special happened.
You went to school like you always did, watched Felixs' videos, did your homework and chatted with people on the internet. You chatted especially much with king-of-dabbing.
Actually, they were a little strange sometimes, but you liked them, as they seemed to be nice, funny, intelligent and they liked Felix as well.
It was now Saturday and you were just chilling in your room, listening to songs you liked while... being on the internet.
king-of-dabbing: hello hello my friend (creep-emoji)
king-of-dabbing: what are you up to :3
felixsqueen: just chilling. listening so songs. scrolling through insta. wby?
king-of-dabbing: work work work work
felixsqueen: awu. I really can't help you?
king-of-dabbing: hmm
king-of-dabbing: actually
king-of-dabbing: yes
felixsqueen: hehe
king-of-dabbing: well actually... no
And that again was why you thought that this person was a little weird sometimes. But everyone has their flaws right?
felixsqueen: ??? haha what?
king-of-dabbing: with that I meant
king-of-dabbing: typing... typing...
king-of-dabbing: you can help me right now but not with my work
king-of-dabbing: I can always work better while being outside and I love seeing new places. I also like going to restaurants or cafes I've never been to.
king-of-dabbing: do you know any good places? You're also from Australia right?
felixsqueen: ooooh
felixsqueen: there is a really good cafe I like to go to
felixsqueen: wait a second I'll send you a link

felixsqueen: they are really good. dunno how far it's away from where you live though

felixsqueen: as what do you work tho?
king-of-dabbing: uh
king-of-dabbing: I'm still in school. final year.
felixsqueen: oooh so you're talking about school when you say work?
felixsqueen: aah I'm sure the final year will be much harder than year 11
king-of-dabbing: it's actually similar
king-of-dabbing: after graduation everything will get better though haha
Sometimes they had a really bad way of expressing themselves. It almost sounded as if they had graduated already. But they said they were in Year 12 so that wouldn't make sense.
felixsqueen: what's your name btw? I never asked
king-of-dabbing: typing... typing...
then he stopped typing
king-of-dabbing: typing... typing...
king of dabbing: just call me Fe. My friends all call me that haha
felixsqueen: awu. fe sounds cute. like felix :3
king-of-dabbing: haha. guess felix and I have a lot in common :P
felixsqueen: actually YES hahah
felixsqueen: but that's positive
felixsqueen: you can just call me y/n
king-of-dabbing: y/n is such a beautiful name. I like it :3
You actually didn't feel like you had the right to ask if they were male of female. Fe was genderneutral and maybe they did it on purpose. Maybe they were non-binary. You didn't want offend them by asking, so you just didn't.
At the same time you were really curious. They didn't behave like most girls would do. Also the texting wasn't exactly girly. And their handwriting looked like a guys'. But... the chance of them being male was pretty low at the same time. Felixs fanbase was about 80% female according to the statistics he posted.
In the end, it wouldn't make a difference though. After all you were not looking for a boyfriend or a female bestfriend but just a nice person you could talk to. And to you, a persons gender didn't really matter. Values, personality, humor... that mattered to you.
So why did you even think about this so much? You shook your head in confusion.
Fe seemed to be offline, probably due to work... no.... studying for school again so you decided to watch a movie and went into the kitchen to make yourself some snacks.
Because, let's be real, you ain't watchin no movie without some good snacks.
While making popcorn and searching the whole kitchen for other food you could snack on, your mother came into the room.
"Hey, what are you doing?" she chuckled and sat down on her chair, smiling at you.
"Just looking for some snacks. I'll be watching a movie later"
"Which one?"
"Taxi driver. It's a historical movie about protests in South Korea in the 80s I think. It was recommended to me and it has really really good reviews"
"Sounds good. Want to watch it together?" You grinned happily. Watching movies with your mother has always been a thing you loved to do.
"Sure!"
The rest of the day was spent watching the movie. It was sad and brutal but also very good, like the reviews said.
Your mother made dinner, steak to be exact and after eating you went into your room, checking your phone.
Felix had tweeted.
"Been to this really good cafe today :D"
"Vlog about it will be up next Wednesday. I like vlogging very much at the moment"
