"Chan?"

"Hey"

"Hey... How are you doing?"

"I'm good. When will you be able to go out again?"

"I actually don't know."

"Can you ask your mother?"

"Yeah sure, I'll call you back..."
confused you hung up and went to see your Mom. She was in her room, doing something on her laptop.

"Mom, Channie asked when I'll be allowed to go out."

She turned around looking at you. Her mouth was pressed together, a straight line, she was still mad at you.

Yesterday you had reinstalled Instagram to text Fe again, which you did. You still had your old, bigger fanaccount and sent him a message on that one, saying that your mother had deleted your other account and grounded you. In the evening you had deinstalled the app again, so you didn't know if he had answered. 

On that exact evening your mother had had the bright idea to change your google password and make it impossible to install apps without entering that password, making you unable to install Instagram again and see Fes reply.

"I think Channie is a good influence so I guess next week. But only if he drives you home again and picks you up so that I know he's with you and you're not trying to meet pedophiles again."

Being happy with what she said you nodded and thanked her. After that you went into your room and on Youtube. Felix had just uploaded a new video and you were sure it would cheer you up at least a little. You had not taken off the ring even once. It gave you hope and made you smile, looking at it.

Felix looked like he was tired. His eyes were puffy and his smile seemed a little forced. But considering he probably filmed this directly after the fanmeeting he was just exhausted. He waved at the camera and when you saw that he was wearing the ring you gifted him your heart jumped. Suddenly you felt happy. For the first time since the fanmeeting actually. 

"I have made some serious mistakes and that resulted in losing someone I love very dearly so I hope you all understand that I'm not feeling that well right now."
he said at some point and your heart sunk. 

When Felix was sad, you were sad. You wished you could go and comfort him. You wanted him to be happy. Smiling. Healthy. 

After watching the video you suddenly remembered that you had promised Channie to call him back. 

Quickly you pressed 'call' and waited for him to pick up. He had probably expected you calling and it didn't take him long to answer.

"What did she say?"

"Next week. But she wants you to pick me up and drive me back again. I'm sorry... ah..."
You felt a little guilty. If he decided to do that it was different than if your mother demanded it.

Chan chuckled. 

"You know I'd pick you up and bring you back anyways. It's how I was raised. It's something a gentleman does."

Now you smiled. He was too good for you.

"Your mom did a great job raising you."

"She did. I'll pick you up next week at two. Make yourself pretty... well no... you're pretty anyways... hm... just try not to be sad. I'll have a surprise prepared for you."

"Okay, I'll be looking forward to it. Thank you."

"Everything for you."

Somehow you felt like you were using him. He was so kind and you didn't give him back anything. 

"Channie I'm sorry for always receiving and not giving back. Thank you. Just thank you so much for being there for me."

For a moment he was silent.

"I know you love him and not me. And I don't think I can change that. Which is okay. But don't feel guilty. It's not like you make me do it, I just want you. We're friends. Friends help each other out. Friends are there for each other. And don't think you're not giving me anything. Seeing you smile is already giving me so much happiness. Don't feel guilty."

Touched by his words your eyes started watering. Why was he like that? How could a human be that kind and warmhearted? Was he even human? Humans can't be that perfect, can they?

"You know I love you."
you suddenly found yourself saying.

"I know. You just don't love me like that. Which, like I said, is okay."

"I hope someday you'll find someone that will give you the love you deserve Chan. You deserve someone like that."

"Someday I will find someone that loves me as much as you love him."

Now you were crying again. You actually wished you loved him enough but your heart was beating for Felix. You couldn't change that. 

And maybe you didn't want to change that.

Because maybe, just maybe you'd be able to fix things. Maybe you'd have a happy ending. And maybe that wouldn't happen because of fate, but because of an angel sent from heaven to protect you and give things a little push. And maybe that angel was disguised as a human, as your best friend.

Ay soooo we'll have this story ending with Chapter 30 and that means we're almost finished ah. I'm sad but also happy because I'm looking forward to writing the last chapters hehe.

Will they have a happy ending?

Isn't Chan an angel? Actually he's my favourite character but shhh don't tell the other ones hehe <3
