Therese's Point Of View
I'm wearing my sleeveless black dress I bought a month ago, I never really had the opportunity to wear it but I guess wearing it tonight would be perfect.
I'm so excited to see Cody in his outfit, is he going to wear a casual or formal outfit? I love the feeling of his dark brown eyes staring into mine, and his messy brown hair that's pushed back from his face makes him so adorable.
I hear the doorbell ring, and I ran straight from my room to the race with my mom in opening the door. She laughs to herself as I reach the door, panting and she returns to the kitchen. I'm grateful she's okay with me dating, she isn't that type of mom that says, 'You can't date or get a boyfriend until you graduate from school'
"Hi beautiful." Cody kisses my cheek.
"Hi." I feel my cheeks heat up.
"Let's go?" He offers his hand to hold, which I gladly accept. He intertwines our fingers together as he leads me to his car.
Being the gentleman he is, he opens the door for me where I smile at him and swiftly took my seat. He jogs around his car to finally reach the driver seat.
The drive was silent, not awkward silent but peacefully silent until he breaks it by turning on the radio. I wonder if this is also his first time to date.
"Oh my god." I couldn't hold in my excitement.
"Don't dull the sparkle in your eyes, I know that we were made to break. So what I don't mind? Are you gonna stay the night? Are you gonna stay the night? Oh.. Oh.." we both sang in unison and looked at each other and started to laugh.
"I didn't know you listen to Zedd!" He exclaims.
"Well what could you say? I party a lot." I joke making him laugh. His laugh was so adorable that I could just listen to it all day.
He pulls over into a restaurant, it looked expensive actually, and I feel bad that he had to pay tons of money for this night. A simple night at at a park would actually still be fine with me than go here to expensive dinners.
"May I see your reservation letter sir?" The old man in a suit asks Cody, Cody digs his pockets to retrieve his reservation letter and hands it to the man, he nods and leads us to our table.
Cody pulls my chair for me, and pushes my seat when I stood in front of the chair.
"What do you think of the place?" He asks me, I take in my surroundings it was perfect. There was a small fountain at the middle and it was surrounded my tables and chairs covered with red and white cloths. And each table had a rose in the thin flower pot, in our table it was color red, my favorite actually.
"It's beautiful."
"Not as beautiful as you." He cheekily smiles. My cheeks blush at his compliment and he smiles widely.
"You look cute when you blush."
His teasing towards me came to an end as soon as our food arrived.
A young man, around 20's serves our food he smiles at me as soon as he notices my glare and I return his kind gesture. I look at Cody again looking a bit annoyed, he clears his throat to get the attention of the waiter still smiling at me.
"Um.. Well my date here might melt if you don't stop staring and smiling at her." Sarcasm and annoyance clear in Cody's voice.
"I'm sorry sir." The waiter immediately apologizes and walks away.
