Therese's Point Of View

The next thing I knew Cody's lips smash into mine, his fingers slowly sliding down below to play with the hem of my shirt until he lifts it off me. Am I doing the right thing? Fully giving myself to him yet we haven't even dated and i don't even know where our relationship stands. I stopped him before he completely lifted my shirt off.

"Cody.." I say weakly after breaking the kiss.

"What?" Lifting his head up, looking down at me giving me a confused look.

"I just." I push my shirt down to cover my revealed stomach and stood up from the couch wherein he follows me.

"I'm sorry, Thea." He stops me before I leave by gently grabbing my wrist. "Thea please don't leave me." He pleas.

"I have to go."

"I love you." I hear him say before I closed the entrance door shut behind me.

Now what I'm gonna walk all the way home? I'm not even sure how and I left my phone. I recall how long it took us to get her it's about 20 minutes, a 30 minute walk probably. And it's 6:20 it's getting dark.

I continued to walk down the street, looking back multiple times sort of praying that Cody would drive by telling me to ride his car and he'll take me home but a part of me says no.

I'm now passing by the night bar and memories of the guy that approached me flashed on my mind.

"Hey baby." A guy chuckles as he takes hold of my wrist, snapping me back to reality from my thoughts. This is real, this the thing i'm most afraid of from happening.

"Get away from me!" I shout and struggle to break free which caused him to tighten his grip even more.

"I don't bite sweetie." He whispers near my ear. I could feel his facial hair on my cheek, quite disgusting actually.

"Help!" I shout as loud as I could, wishing someone at least would have heard my cries.

"Help!" I shout once more before the man swipes his tongue on my jaw. I could feel my eyes gloss up but I bit my cheeks to prevent them from spilling.

I closed my eyes praying for a miracle.

And that's when the miracle happened, the man was pulled away from me and was beaten up, pinned to the floor. I could hear the sound of a bone crunch and I shivered at how strong this guy was.

"Are you okay?" He asks me as he places his hand on my shoulder. The way he held my shoulder was so gentle, yet I knew what he was capable of.

"Y-yeah."

"Did he touch you or hurt you?"

"Well he held my wrist too tight and basically licked my jaw." I say with disgust.

"Fuck.." He sighs under his breath.

"I'll walk with you home." He offered. I wasn't sure if letting a stranger walking me home would be a good idea, but I felt safe with him, from that moment he pulled that disgusting drunk away from me awhile ago, even though he threw strong multiple punches on the man, I wasn't scared of him because he saved me. He saved me.

I nod in reply.

"So what's your name?" He asks me as we continued to walk down the street digging his hands on his pockets.

"Therese but you could call me Thea." I politely smile.

"Pretty name." He compliments.

"Thanks."
