Therese Cox's POV

"We need to talk." I met Cody's brown eyes, he tugs at my wrist pulling me to the direction where there were less people.

"Uh.. Sure." I nervously reply, yet I didn't show it.

He nods and pulls me towards the back exit of the cafe, he opens the back door for me and I step outside to be greeted by the night chilly air. I rub my arms with my hands in order to make myself warm.

I hear the door squeak as Cody closes it behind him.

"So.." I trail off. I had no idea what we were going to discuss about anyway.

I leaned against the wall, admiring the beauty of the stars that shone tonight. I watch Cody's blank expression staring into space as if he was trying to remember what he had memorized to tell me.

He finally faces me, both of our hands holding each other, I look up at him to meet a lighter shade of brown than it was days ago.

"I'm sorry." He brushes his thumb over my hand gently. "I'm sorry for the way I acted on our last date, I didn't mean to do that, I didn't know what I was thinking." He sighs, his thumb continues to brush the back of my hand.

"It's alright really." I stare at our hands.

"So does that mean we're over?" He looks down at me while I finally meet his gaze.

"We're over?" I repeat. There never was an us in Cody and I, we've only dated twice and that second one turned out badly, he attempted to rape me for God's sake.

"Well if you want us to continue, that would be great." Cody held my hand tightly.

"I-" before I could complete my sentence the back door opens violently to reveal a frustrated Louis. I quickly pull my hand away from Cody and face Louis completely.

"What the fuck were you talking about?" Louis shouts to both Louis and I.

"He-"

"Don't explain, I've heard ever single thing." He snaps at me before his fists connects with Cody's jaw. Cody falls to the floor whilst Louis throws punch after punch at Cody, the same thing he did to Liam.

"Louis!" I call out for him. Tears started to build in my eyes yet I bit the inside of my cheek to prevent them from spilling. I approach him and place my hand on his shoulder, but he ignores my touch and continued to hurt Cody.

"Louis, you promised you won't do this again." I say in between sobs, the warm tears start to roll down my cheeks.

He freezes from punching Cody and slowly turned around to face me. I met his dark eyes, it turned dark from the anger he held yet it soon disappeared and stood up from his position to walk towards me.

His palms rest on my cheeks and wiped my tears away.

He hugs me gently, his face digs into my neck.

"Are you scared of me?" He whispers in my ear.

"No." I answer truthfully.

"Good." I feel his lips plant a kiss on my shoulder before it connected with my own lips.

My eyes instantly close once his plump lips touched mine, he disconnects the kiss and looked at Cody who was now standing beside us.

"So all we've gone through was nothing?" Cody shrugs, sadness clear in his features.

"Yeah there never was." Louis replied for me with a smirk on his face.

Cody huffs and walks back in the cafe, Louis' hands were holding my waist and he left a quick kiss on my forehead.
