Therese Cox's POV

I helped Louis pack my things, folding them properly while placing them inside my bag. My mom hasn't even came back for me, leaving me disappointed yet happy that Louis is still here with me.

It's only been a short while since I knew Louis, but I felt comfortable around him. And the fact that I love him made it insane, I'm in love with a stranger? - a stranger who saved my life twice, who is missing out his classes for me and never left my side. Yeah, I could consider loving a stranger like him.

After a few days here in the hospital I felt like I have this strong bond with Louis, we both shared laughter, exchanged sweet smiles and even kisses. It made me happy that for once in my life,
someone truly loved and cared for me.

I picked up the large bag to wince in pain.

"Shit, Thea i'll carry those things don't worry." He quickly got the bag and threw it over his shoulder and left a quick kiss on my temple.

I totally forgot that my wrist is newly stitched, making it hurt once in awhile. I'm just glad i'm getting out of this hellhole they call a hospital.

"Come on, let's get out of this shit." He places his hand behind my back for support as we walked down the hall.

We walked past several nurses and doctors, I glanced over at the counter to see nurses giggling as soon as they see Louis and I walking by. I noticed they were just checking on Louis and quickly focused my gaze on the floor, which seemed more interesting than knowing a couple of nurses were fangirling over Louis.

He tightens his grip on my waist as soon as he realized my sudden shift of mood.

"What's bothering you?" He asks me as he adjusts the bag over his shoulders.

"Nothing." I lied.

"Oh come on Thea." He hits his sides with mine carefully, not too strong to make me stumble and fall.

"Thea.." His facial expression changes to worried, worried he did something wrong, which was not true. You couldn't blame him for his good looks.

"There were a couple of nurses fangirling over you." I confessed, looking elsewhere than him.

"Really?" How could he not notice?

"Um.. Yeah. Didn't you notice?" I furrowed my brows at him.

"Nope.. Because you're the only girl I notice." I feel my cheeks heat up, and I'm a hundred percent sure I look like a tomato right now.

"Remember that okay?" He smiles, I nod still looking down the floor for him not to notice my red rose colored cheeks.

We soon reached the exit of the hospital, and as soon as we passed through those doors a sigh was released from my mouth. I inhaled the fresh air through my nose, it was a hell lot better than the scent of the hospital.

Louis removes hand from my back and intertwines his fingers with mine. We slowly went down the stairs and he lead me to his car. He threw the bags on the trunk as I went inside the car myself, I sink in the comfortable seat to his car while waiting for him to enter.

"Want to stay at my place first?" He raises bought of his eyebrows, hopping in the driver's seat. His eyes were full of hope that I would agree, somehow he knew I would.

I gave him a small nod and he focused on twisting the key to turn on the engine, he bit his lips trying to hide the smile, probably of how excited he was to show me his home.
