Thea's Point Of View

I overheard the girl talking to Louis laughing hard as if there was no tomorrow. He clasps his hands together whilst laughing with the girl in unison. My blood's boiling, he left me for this girl?

"Thea you alright?" Matty snaps be back to the present, making me tear my gaze away from Louis and the girl back to my friends.

"Uh.. Yeah." I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear. I can't just tell them what happened between Louis and I if they knew i'm going out with Cody.

"Yes there is." Drew furrows his eyebrows together, they knew me well enough to know whether I was lying or not.

"I'm fine." I sigh, crossing my arms in front of my chest.

"Okay then." Drew shrugs his shoulders giving up on interrogating me any further.

The school bell rang signaling us it was assembly time.

"Let's go!" Kate claps her hands excitedly, we always sit together every assembly.

We made our way through the crowd and to where the assembly was held.

"Take your seats, dear students." The headmaster shushed us all, the noise soon faded in a few seconds just to focus our attention on our headmaster.

"I'd just wanted an urgent assembly today to tell you all, some students missing." His features somehow hardened none of us knowing why, if he felt sad then somehow his features should soften. The room was filled with silent chit chats. "And I would like you all to be careful." The headmaster wished, looking at every student as if he was studying them and trying to remember us as if he wouldn't meet us again.

"If you find anything suspicious please report it right away to avoid anything that risks another person's life." He raises his finger shushing the students back again.

He continued talking about the school activities and thanked some familiar teacher's from all the support they work into for the school.

"Alright everyone's dismissed." He announces before walking off the stage.

Everyone stood up from their seats and pushed their way through the exit.

"That freaked me." Kate's eyebrows raised and a frown appeared in her face.

"Don't worry I'm here." Matty assured her leaving a quick kiss on her temple.

"Same as them babe." Drew hugs Selene sideways giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"Guess I'll protect myself." I shrug, their attention turned to focus on me and we all released loud laughs.

"Oh Thea." Kate says in between laughs.

"You have Cody!" Selene cheers, she looks back at Kate and they both fangirl together.

Oh yeah Cody. I forgot about him. But you love Louis not him my mind reminds

"Yeah." I flashed my fake smile.

My body shook when I felt a hand wrapped around my wrist, Louis?

"Hey could I borrow Thea from you guys?" Cody asks as he look around my friends, I was disappointed to see Cody instead of Louis.

"No problem." Kate says the second after Cody asks.

Cody gently tugs my wrist taking me to somewhere farther away from anyone.

"Hey so uh-" he rubs the nape of his neck, looking somewhere else than me. "I want to take you out tonight, if that's okay." He shyly smiles.

'Continue to date Cody if you want to save that precious little boy's life' I hear the voice of Cody's friend in the back of my mind. I swore to myself I'll protect Louis.
