Therese Cox's POV
It's 4 in the afternoon and I'm preparing to go to work at 5. It may be a saturday but I need to make up for my absence, I've sent my resignation letter to my boss and she said I should work 7 times more to say I had a week notice and today is my first one so far, I wonder if Louis would be there as he promised?
After my shower I dressed up in my white shirt and black jeans and head downstairs to the kitchen. I prepared myself a nutella sandwich before heading to work, I hopped in the car, turning on the engine and radio. I backed away from the garage and drove to work.

The bell to the door rang the moment I've entered the small café, I checked the cashier to see Jacob instead of Cody. Where was Cody? His shift should have started 20 minutes ago.
I should be relieved should I? That he isn't here.
But my mind's filled with questions, was it just a coincidence that he wasn't able to work right now? Or did he have something else in plan ahead of me? Did he knew about Louis being in here for the week until I could resign?
Speaking of Louis where is he?
I look around to see some familiar faces, Niall and Liam. They were sitting on my section which means I was assigned to them.
"Miss." Niall calls.
I walked to their table, Liam clearly surprised by my presence, his eyes grew bigger while staring at me.
"Um.. What would you like?" I clicked the pen, preparing to write their orders.
"You work here?" Niall asks.
"Yeah." I nod.
"Um.. Just 2 brewed coffee's." Liam says.
"And a slice of strawberry cake!" Niall cheers.
"Okay, is that it?" I write legibly on my notepad.
They both nod and I made my way to the kitchen, I gave the order and leaned against the wall whilst waiting for the order to be prepared.
The small bell rings to the kitchen and I quickly picked up the tray that had two cups of coffee and a slice of cake which I balanced it on one hand and made my way towards Niall and Liam's table.
"Here you go." I placed their orders in front of them.
"Thanks." Niall says before munching into his cake.
A smile crossed my face of how childish he acted. After a few minutes lots of people entered and exit the cafe, I looked up at the clock to see it was a quarter until 7 at night, time flies so fast when you have a lot of costumers, it was weird that Niall and Liam was still here, they asked for a refill on their coffee's most of the time but they've been here for 2 hours. I went to the bathroom which was at the corner back of the cafe shop.
I went inside one of the stalls and sat on the toilet seat cover. I texted Louis asking where he was; we weren't allowed to use our phones during work so most of the times I would go to the bathroom to secretly use it.
I finally went out the bathroom to feel arms wrapped around my torso. I gasp yet the person covers my mouth with their hand.
"Hey Thea." I recognized his british accent.
"Lou." I smile, he was hugging me from behind and I found it sweet.
"Who do you even think it was?" He almost laughs, I spin around to finally face him and his blue-green, seemingly gray, eyes stared into my own.
