I Reject You

Chapter 9

It was almost 8 by the time I was done with everything.

Since the meeting was only for some time, I decided to take only a dress, a pair of heels and some accessories to go with it that I had earlier borrowed from Lily.

The packing was over in some time itself. Most of the time took in deciding what I was going to wear and in organizing my closet once again.

After that I decided to go out for a run.

Andrew volunteered to come with me, but I told him that I needed some time alone.

Past few days have been really different for me. I was thinking about my family, friends and the new life here. I really wonder what happened to my pack after I ran away from there like the coward I am.

But mostly, I was thinking about Ashler and the upcoming rejection. 

My feet padded against the ground as I ran through the woods. There were twigs and dried leaves lying around. It hurt my feet but I was too lost in my thoughts to care.

I wasn't worried about my safety here even if I was alone here at the night because I was still in the boundaries of the pack's territory.

I decided to go back to the pack house since it was quite late and I had to wake up early in the morning tomorrow.

I was in no mood of not waking up in time and then face the wrath of Alpha.

Before I could walk any further, I was attacked by a grey and black female wolf which was a little bigger than my own.

Since I wasn't expecting an attack, I was thrown to the other side where my back hurt the trunk of a tree.

Ouch! That hurt.

Why will someone do that to me?

'You bitch!' The wolf mind- linked me.

I quickly recognized the wolf as Britney. Of course, who else will pull such a low move.

'Why the hell did you do that?' I growled.

'You need to stay away from Ashler. He's mine!'

'Really, he told you that?' I retorted.

'Bi*ch you're not even interested in him or the pack. You just want the title of the Luna which I'm not going to let you snatch away from me.' She screamed.

Oh, now I get it. This is what the fuss is all about.

She has no idea about the deal Ashler and I made.

'Britney the pack doesn't deserve a Luna like you. And I do not want either Ashler or the title of the Luna. You can gladly have them both, just know that the pack would suffer under your leadership.' I tried talking some sense into her useless brain.

Her obsession with Ashler is making me really angry. 

Oh my God, what is even happening?! Why am I being so possessive about him?

'You're just an omega, so you better not teach me who deserves to be the pack's Luna. You're weak and stupid, just like any other omega.'

Okay, she just hit a nerve right there. Being an omega has never been easy but she'll never understand the pain.

I couldn't find any reply for that.

'And now wait and watch how I make your life a living hell.' She smirked.

Before I could get a chance to react, Britney's wolf lunged itself over me. I tried removing her from over my top, but her wolf was bigger and stronger than mine.
