I Reject You

Chapter 19

Lily and I rushed towards the car that was parked for us, excited to spend some hours of fun and boy-free drama.

Since I didn't bring any of my stuff here, including cash, Ashler lent me his credit card for the same. I was reluctant to accept it at first but he made me agree to it after a lot of negotiations from both the ends.

"Good evening Luna. Good evening Miss Lily." The guard who was coming with us wished.

Although it would've  been cooler if he wasn't coming with us, I'm not complaining and he seems nice enough.

"Good evening." We both replied together.

"So where do you ladies want to go first?" He asked, starting the car.

"How about shopping?" Lily asked, turning at me.

"Yeah, sounds fun." I replied back smiling.

Now that I think about it, I haven't shopped in quite a long time. Here in the pack house also I'd been given clothes chosen by Lily that I'm very much grateful for. 

I looked outside the window the entire time we drove towards the city, leaving the woods behind us. It was such a beautiful sight to watch!

I pointed towards the high skyscrapers and lit- up showrooms. Everything was just too bright. 

Once we reached the huge store, I couldn't help but rush out of the car before it even stopped completely. Lily giggled at my excitement and followed me closely behind.

The guard, whose name I learnt was Mike, started following us but Lily and I asked him to wait for us in the car itself. 

"But Alpha Ashler had asked me not to leave you alone at any point of time." He said with his head bowed down.

"Are you disobeying your Luna?" Lily fake gasped, making me shoot her a glare.

"N-no I didn't mean to." He said, turning red with embarrassment. "I'm sorry Luna."

"Mike, how about you stay here and we'll come back as soon as we're done?" I asked him, hoping he agrees.

I could see the inner battle he was going through making me feel pity for him.

"As you say Luna." He said, waiting in the car.

As we stepped inside, my eyes went wide with excitement. There were so many sections filled with clothes of every type, size and color.

"Come on, the girls section is upstairs." Lily said, grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the elevator.

"How many floors are there?" I asked, wondering.

"Four." She said, shrugging.

My eyes went wide with excitement as I looked at her.

OH MY GOD!

That was my first thought as soon as we reached upstairs.

It was so beautiful and colorful.

"Let's begin our work." Lily said, rubbing her palms like a mad scientist.

And so we did.

We looked around almost every section to find the perfect clothes for us. We bought every type of clothing possible- jeans, shorts, summer dresses, party dresses, pajamas, jumpsuits, everything.

The first pair of clothing that I'd picked was just a simple shirt but it's price tag made me look for any sort of diamonds hanging. It was freaking expensive.

I didn't want to spend so much money, which wasn't even mine in the first place. But Lily assured me that this wouldn't even put a dent in Ashler's account.
