I Reject You

Chapter 10

I woke up to my alarm clock almost piercing my eardrums.

Just five more minutes....

I shut the clock and laid back down.

My eyes snapped open right after as I remembered about the meeting.

I have no idea why but I was really nervous about going alone with Ashler, especially after yesterday night.

Nothing will happen, I have promised Andrew.

With that thought in mind, I quickly took a shower and wore the clothes I had planned to wear yesterday.

A white cami top and a pair of ripped jeans would be perfect for the journey.

I quickly curled the ends of my hair and applied some mascara and lip color in the name of makeup.

I checked the time in my phone. There were still 15 minutes left to be 7.

Someone knocked at my door. I opened the door and revealed Andrew.

"Hey! You look beautiful." Andrew said.

"Thank you Andrew." I replied, smiling.

"Come down fast. Have breakfast, then you guys have to leave." He said, lifting my duffle bag which I had packed for today.

We descended the stairs together.

I saw Ashler sitting on the dining table. He was looking really good in a pair of dark wash jeans and a white shirt.

"Good morning." I greeted him as I sat between him and Andrew.

"Good morning." He greeted back, smiling a little.

He kept on staring at me and I wonder if something was on my face. Unconsciously I touched my face and he ended up smirking at me.

"I was checking you out". He said casually as if he was just talking about the weather.

I rolled my eyes at him and said a low 'shut up' but was actually fighting the butterflies in my stomach.

Andrew cleared his throat and I looked up at him to see him angry. I placed my hand on top of his and shook my head in a subtle 'no'.

Maria placed the pancakes in front of me and I quickly thanked her.

Mmmm...as always the food was heavenly.

We quickly finished our breakfast and stood up to leave.

"Have fun guys...but not too much fun." Lily told me and Ashler hugging us.

I rolled my eyes at her.

"Shut up." Ashler said.

"I'll miss you Hannah. Be safe." Andrew said, placing a quick kiss on my lips.

"I'll miss you too. Don't worry I'll be back before you know." I playfully winked at him.

I gave him a peck in return and was interrupted by none other than Ashler.

"Come fast. We are getting late." Ashler growled.

Oops.

Andrew squeezed my hand a little as I was leaving. I could see that he was sad.

I knew that duration wasn't his problem because as soon as the meeting gets over, Ashler and I would be back by the evening. He was worried because I was going with Ashler, my mate.

I quickly lifted my duffle bag, but Ashler took it from me and we walked towards his car.

He has an Audi! And it's gorgeous.
