There stood Ashler, looking dangerously angry.

His fists were clenched and his teeth grounded together. He looked at Andrew and then at me.

The moment he saw the distressed look on my face, he lost it.

He didn't think twice before charging himself towards Andrew, making him lose his grip on me. I fell backwards due to the unexpected motion and quickly scrambled to my feet.

Punches flew, kicks thrown and bones crunched.

The sight was awful! I haven't seen either of them as angry as then.

Andrew's wolf still hadn't backed down and his eyes were black as coal. But Ashler, even in his human form, seemed to be stronger.

I didn't want any of them to get hurt but my body seemed to be paralyzed.

It felt like they both were venting out their pent up anger and hatred towards each other.

A punch in Andrew's gut and the sound of a broken jaw made me snap back to reality and I rushed to stop both of them.

"Ashler stop it!" I screamed, but he continued punching.

Andrew did not have the strength to fight anymore but he still kept on mumbling some stuff about hitting Ashler. The sight was awful!

Knowing that I was taking a risk, I grabbed Ashler by his shoulders from behind and shook him, trying to get his attention.

He turned around and seeing his angry eyes made me flinch back a little but I held my ground.

When he realized it was me, his eyes softened a little but he still hadn't let his guard down.

"Stop, okay? He won't fight anymore." I said softly, placing my palm on his cheek. He leaned into my touch, taking a deep breath and his body seemed to relax visibly.

He stepped aside and I saw Andrew lying on the floor, blood spilling out of his mouth. He was trying to gasp for air but ended up coughing, spurting out more blood.

"Andrew, you'll be fine." I said, hugging him close.

Not matter how angry I was with Andrew for being so reckless and trying to mark me, I couldn't just leave him alone to deal with his misery.

After all I was to blame for this. And he is one of my best friends. Actually the only one now.

But Ashler seemed to have other plans as far as Andrew was concerned.

Two guards stood at the entrance of the room and Ashler motioned for them to come in.

They grabbed Andrew making my arms fall down from his shoulders into my lap.

"What's happening? Where are they taking him?" I asked, confused and scared.

"To the pack cell." Ashler replied, devoid of any emotions.

"What?! But why?" I asked, throwing my arms in frustration.

"For not respecting his Luna, trying to hurt her and crossing his limits." He replied in his Alpha voice.

"I'm fine Ashler. Nothing has happened to me." I tried reasoning with him.

"It could've if I hadn't entered at the right time." He replied with angry eyes. "You have no idea what all ideas are coming to my mind of hurting that son of a b*tch."

"Ashler please. He needs a doctor, not the prison." I pleaded.

"I'm afraid he does . I don't trust him around you anymore. Anyway I'll ask the pack doctor to look at him." He replied in a stone cold voice.
