It seemed like it was our lucky day. Captain Levi and his squad showed up just in time. That was the good news. The bad news was that Eren left. He just walked away. He must’ve gone to kill more Titans. Or to get away from Levi. I don’t blame him.

“Are you alright?” Levi asked me. “I’m fine. Just a little worn out, but I’ll shake it off.” His facial expression didn’t change, but I could hear in his voice that he was impressed. “Good soldier.” He said to me.

“How many are left?” I asked him. “Not many. Most of the ones that attacked are dead. Why was the one that was standing in front of you not attacking you?” asked Petra. “He’s an abnormal. There’s no point in trying to understand him.” She shrugged. I guess that was enough for her. I’m just glad she didn’t ask me any more questions. At that moment, we ran in the direction of the rest of the Titans. But when we got there, Eren was already there. And he wasn’t looking so good.
