Chapter 14 - You Again?

*Jennifer's POV*

"Did he go with the car?!" I asked and I put my book on the bed and got up to find my shoes.

"He left with car. He would NEVER do that. I know him. Chloe, what did you say to him?" Cameron asked.

I pinched his arm as I took a glare at him. Shut up already. It's not Chloe's fault. Or maybe it was, but he had no right to blame her.

"Why don't you call Isabelle? Maybe she knows where he is." I grabbed my phone and tried to call her. My phone was so slow. Swing, you little shit, SWING!

"I might know where Matthew is. But it's so close to here, it makes no sense that he left with his car. But I'll take my chances."

Chloe said and left the room without saying a word. Like something came to her mind.

*Isabelle's POV*

I was walking and thinking about what Carter said. I was gone for only 3 weeks and it was enough for him to cheat on me. And now he was saying that those were all for somthing he can't tell? Liar.

I was outside of hotel, where there was no one. I could've gotten kidnapped here. Seriously. This place was scary and also awesome to over-think about everything.

Then I saw someone, a boy with his hands on his face, crying. It was Matthew.

"Oh my god are you okay? What happened?" I said and I stared at his car. This empty place was 15 minutes away from the hotel by foot.

"Chloe happened. And... I took the car so that they will think I went far away. Human nature, they can never find me in here. What are you doing here?" he said and he stopped crying.

"Doing Carter here..."

"Did you listen to him, did you listen why he did this?" he asked.

"Yeah... he doesn't tell me why." I couldn't stop my tears.

"Come here..." he hugged me.

What was he doing?

It took me 10 seconds to realize that he was being friendly and kind.

I always loved Matthew, he's one of my best friends ever. Unlike my friends, I was friends with my friends' boyfriends. I mean Chloe always hated Carter, now I understand why. But I like Matthew, and Jack (While he was dating Sarag) and Cameron. They're such good people.

"I know you love Carter so much. And you know that I love Chloe so much. Trust me, this is gonna be okay. We will fix everything, I promise. You trust me, sista?" then he stepped away.

"Yeah, bro!" I smiled and I nodded.

"What are you two doing here?!" a girl voice asked madly. It was Chloe.

"Hey, Chloe, we were just talking." I answered.

I hope she didn’t get this whole situation wrong.

"Matthew, now you're hitting on my friends?" she asked.

"Oh my god, what?!?! Chloe look at me, you are so mad at him that you can’t think straight. No he is not! Did you lose your mind?" I answered madly. What the fuck was she talking about.

She was lying. I could see it in her face. Why was she doing this? I am definetely mad at her.

She didn’t answer. Jennifer came, she was running. Then Cameron. Then Nash. Then Carter. Then Sarah.

*Chloe's POV*

I turned my face to the peoole that just arrived.

"OH! Did tou guys see that? Matthew is not hittin on Iz!"

"OH MY GOD CHLOE, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU! You know you're wrong!" she yelled at me.

"Chloe, you are not okay right now. You know you are lying!" Matthew said.

I was lying. I did this because I was so mad at Matthew. What he said abiut my father was nothing I can forgive. Revenge, it feels good. Now people think Matthew is into Isabelle.

I smirked evilly then left.

What was happening to me? Like I was posessed, I didn’t even know why I did it. I hurt my best friend ever, Isabelle.

*Sarah's POV*

What was Chloe talking about?! Isabelle would never so that. She was good friends with Matthew. Did she really think they were flirting, or she did it to hurt Matthew, even if it meant hurting Isabelle too.

"I know it, babe, I know it!" I hugged Isabelle.

"Why always me? Why can't I live a normal day, without crying, without drama, without lies?" she said as she was crying.

Jen came near us, and hugged. There was one person missing. Chloe. We did those hugs all together. Then Carter came, pushed us and hugged Isabelle.

"It's all my fault. You would never be here if it wasn't for me. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry." he apologised.

"Go away, Carter. Don't follow me!" Isabelle said and left to the opposite side of where Chloe went. Then Nash ran after her to catch her.

I was about to cry too. Jennifer wasn't being over protective of her friends for the first time. I heard about what he said and what he did to Jack and I knew how Brent calmed her down.

Jen was holding Cam's hand and he stopped.

"We need to find Chloe. I'm going back, I know the way she went. I can find her." she said.

"I'm coming with you!" Cameron said.

Then they left. We went back to the hotel after we walked for 15 minutes.

And as I was at the lobby, I saw Shawn. He was back. I directly run to him and kissed him without saying a word.

"I miss you." I said

I hugged him and I saw Jack back there. You again?! He was looking at us sadly. Shawn didn't see him because he was looking at the opposite way.
