The three were all running to find an exit only to find more guards who were trying to find them, but where they were, the guards could not see them; as they continued on, they reached a dead end, and the guards were closing in... fast.
"What do we do now", Luna muttered until they heard a voice.
"Hey blondie, frizzy hair, pinkette, over here", a boyish voice called out as the three all looked inside a cell to see what appeared to be a cat.
"What is that thing", Ryuji asked in confusion
"You're not soldiers of this castle right, get me out of here, look the keys right there", the cat stated pointing towards a key that was too high for him to reach.
"We're trying to get outta here", Ryuji stated "and you obviously look like an enemy",
"How can I be an enemy of I'm locked up in here, help me out", the cat shouted
"Quiet down", Akira said in a whisper as soon the guard's footsteps were heard, louder than before
"They're coming", Luna said with panic
"Hey, you three, wanna know where the exit is, let me out and I'll take you there", the cat said, "you don't want to be caught and executed, right",
"You better not be lying", Akira stated as Luna grabbed the key to the cell
"I'm not lying, it's the truth", the cat reassured
"Whadda we do", Ryuji asked the two as the footsteps were now loud, signaling that the guards were close, and their time was running out
"We have no choice", Luna stated as Akira nodded his head in agreement and Luna freed the cat.
"Ahhh... freedom tastes so great", the cat said walking out of the cell on its legs which surprised the three.
"Now where's the exit, you monster cat", Ryuji yelled
"Don't call me a cat, my name is Morgana", Morgana stated angrily
"Please, can you help us Morgana, before were caught again", Luna asked as Morgana nodded his head
"Alright, follow me and stay quiet", Morgana stated as the three followed after him; walking a few paces, he took the trio to a creepy statue of Kamoshida that was right by a closed off bridge.
"What are you doing", Ryuji asked in confusion
"What does it look like, I'm lowering the bridge", Morgana said, "frizzy hair, pinkette, it seems you two pick up on things faster than Blondie over here, try checking the statues mouth",
Akira then approached the creepy statue pulled the statues mouth to reveal that it was a switch and the bridge lowered, allowing the four to cross; as the four continued running, they ended up running straight into a guard, Akira and Luna were soon back into their outfits that they ended up getting as they fought Kamoshida's guards.
"Come Zorro", Morgana shouted as a persona came up and the three began to fight; within a couple seconds, they emerged victorious.
"Not bad, your personas are really powerful", Morgana stated
"Persona's", Ryuji said confused as Akira and Luna changed back into their normal selves.
"They're back to normal", Ryuji said, in both confusion and shock
"There's no time to lecture, you all wanna escape in one piece, right, let's go, it's not much farther towards the exit", Morgana stated as everyone continued to escape the castle; soon, he led the trio towards a room in the entrance hall.
"Where are we supposed to get out at", Ryuji said, "there's no doors or windows",
"Amateur", Morgana mumbled
"A ventilation shaft", Akira said looking up and pointing towards a vent.
"That's right, as I thought, your a natural at this, it leads all the way outside", Morgana explained
"I see... then we just gotta get that metallic mesh off", Ryuji said as he climbed up the bookshelf and pulled the vent off and fell towards the floor with it.
"Now get going", Morgana yelled, but not too loud
"What about you", Ryuji asked
"There's still something I have to do, were going out separate ways", Morgana stated
"Thank you, Morgana, for helping us," Luna said with a smile
"Be careful on your way", Morgana said as the three entered the ventilation shaft and left the palace
"Those three seem useful, especially the frizzy-haired one... if my judgements right", Morgana mumbled out loud.
(Outside the Palace)
Akira, Luna, and Ryuji had stopped running, looking around, everything seemed back to normal
"Did we make it", Ryuji asked as Akira pulled out his phone
"You have returned to the real world, welcome back"
"Returned", Ryuji said in confusion and shock; soon people began to look at the trio curiously, in which the trio left heading towards the school; as the trio returned to the school and there was an actual school this time which made the trio more confused than before; however, the counselor came out demanding where the three were
"The trains were late, and we were stuck", Luna lied "we're sorry, it won't happen again",
"Alright, I'll let it slide, but try not to let it happen again", the councilor said with a sigh as he then walked into the school, the trio following behind
"You didn't have to lie for us", Ryuji whispered
"Do you really think they'd believe about a castle; come on, let's get to class", Luna whispered back as everyone nodded; as the trio entered the school everyone saw that it was Lunchtime, and were free to talk.
"Hey, I wanna say thanks, for back there", Ryuji said, "you guys pretty much saved everyone, and if you're curious, I'm Ryuji"
"I'm Akira, and she's Luna", Akira said as then the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch and everyone walked to their classrooms; Akira had to introduced himself to everyone as Ms. Kawakami had him sit down behind Ann and right next to Luna as she then began the lesson.
(After school, Shujin Academy)
Akira and Luna walked outside to see the hallway change into the castle décor and back to normal; Ryuji soon walked up towards them,
"I'll be waiting on the rooftop", he said, and he walked away as the two saw Kamoshida talking about Akira spreading false rumors about him.
(After School, Shujin Academy, Rooftop)
"There you guys are, do you guys know what the castle was about, at all, it wasn't a dream, you guys remember it too, yeah", Ryuji asked as the two nodded in agreement, "But my question that I wanted to ask you guys, I wonder if we can go back to that castle again... nah forget it, it must've been a dream all along, you know us three might be pretty similar as troublemakers, well see ya",
Ryuji soon left, heading home as Akira and Luna followed behind returning home as well.
