(Real World, Interrogation Room)
"Guess the drug was too strong, wake him up", the police chief ordered as another cop dumped a bucket of water on Akira which woke him up,
"No dozing off," the police chief ordered as he then forcefully kicked Akira in the stomach, hard,
"Come on, cooperate, or what, do you want another shot", the chief taunted putting his shoe on Akira's head, holding him in place, Akira only looked at the camera
"Huh, what about the camera, are you thinking it can be used as video evidence", the chief asked, taking his shoe off Akira's head and holding him up by his hair, but Akira said nothing
"Haven't you figured it out, there are no laws here that will protect criminals like you", the chief said, slamming Akira's head on the floor and kicked him in the stomach, again, he then picked up a clipboard
"Obstruction of justice, blackmail, defamation, possession of weapons... manslaughter too, talk about the works, to think all those crimes were led by a punk like this... you should know your place", the chief stated as Akira's handcuffs were then taken off, and the clipboard was shoved in his face
"Sign here, it's a confession under your name", the police chief said but Akira swatted it away
"I see, I need your hand to sign this, but...", the chief harshly stomped on Akira's leg, making him grunt and gasp in pain, "I don't care if you end up losing a leg",
As the chief walked away from Akira, he signed the clipboard; after awhile, Sae walked in.
"As you already know, I'm Sae Niijima, you sent me the calling card... I want to know everything from the beginning, all the people you went after, starting from Suguru Kamoshida, all the way up to me", Sae said as then Akira began telling Sae everything.
(Meanwhile, Makoto and Luna)
"Are you sure this is going to work", Luna asked, looking away from the camera feed on her phone and at Makoto
"Yusuke and Futaba are in sis's palace putting the finishing touches in", Makoto explained, "all Akira has to do is to convince Sis to show Akechi his phone, and Futaba will take it from there",
"I hope this plan works", Luna mumbled as she continued watching the cameras
(Meanwhile, Metaverse, Futaba and Yusuke)
"Everything's set up and ready, everything now lies in Akira's hands", Fox stated
"Inari, a part of me can't help but worry about all this", Oracle stated
"Futaba, everything will be alright, I can't help but worry too, everyone's worried, especially Luna", Fox explained
"I know, we should go, and tell everyone that everything's ready and wait for things to come together", Oracle stated as she began to walk away but was stopped by Fox.
"Inari... is everything alright", Oracle asked, Fox nodded his head
"Futaba, I'm not sure how to say this, I usually tend to mess these things up without knowing, so... will you bear with me on this", Fox asked as Oracle nodded her head
"Futaba, when we first had a real conversation, I got the name Inari, yet the more times we hung out, I have... these feelings", Fox explained, "I wasn't sure what they were at the time, but, I think I know now, what I'm saying is... Futaba, I-I love you",
"I-Inari, I think... that I... love you too", Oracle stuttered, her face turning many shades of red with smiles on their face, Oracle and Fox hugged each other
(Meanwhile, back with Akira)
"I see, so that's what led to your ending up here", Sae said aster Akira had finished his story, "there's a lot more I'd like to ask, but my allotted time is nearly up; I do have a suggestion though... care to strike a deal, if you cooperate with me, I'll consider lightening your sentence",
"What do you want", Akira asked
"I'm going to read a list of people who are closest to you in this case, tell me if the following are involved with the Phantom Thieves", Sae said, "first, the friend you've been with since you've transferred to Shujin -- "Ryuji Sakamoto"; Your girlfriend, who was also your childhood best friend -- "Luna (L/N)"; One of the victims of the Kamoshida case -- "Ann Takamaki"; Ichiryusai Madarame's pupil -- "Yusuke Kitagawa"; the daughter of Wakaba Isshiki -- "Futaba Sakura"; the heiress to the Okumura Foods legacy and daughter of its CEO -- "Haru Okumura"; and... the frequently-probing student council president of Shujin Academy -- "Makoto Niijima"; are they your accomplices",
"No", Akira said bluntly
"Then let me rephrase the question, were there not others outside of your group who encouraged your crimes or lent their aid, can you tell me about them", Sae asked
"There were no such people", Akira stated
"Alright then... let's discuss one other person, "Goro Akechi", there were reports that he was acting alongside the Phantom Thieves, might he be a part of your team too", Sae asked
"Nope", Akira said
"Very well, you have no intention of bargaining with me, but as of right now, I have one question", Sae asked, "I was told to be on standby, and after that, you were caught, someone sold you out, do you know who sold you out",
"I might", Akira said
"What do you recall", Sae asked
"The phone", Akira stated
"You mean this", Sae asked holding up Akira's Phone
"Show it to the traitor", Akira asked
"The traitor... who are you talking about", Sae asked confused
"I already told you", Akira stated
"What do you... you're referring to him aren't you", Sae asked as Akira only nodded his head
"I'll be going now", Sae said leaving the room with Akira's Phone in hand.
(Meanwhile, Luna and Futaba)
Luna was with Futaba at Sojiro's house, Futaba watched the hallway cameras as Luna watched the interrogation room cameras, Akira looked up at the camera, although he was badly beaten up, he held a thumbs up and smiled, also doing goofy things with his hands and arms as then Sae returned to the room and began walking out with Akira in tow
"Mission Success, I'll let everyone know about what happened", Futaba said as she then texted everyone
"Now we play the waiting game, I suppose", Luna stated as Futaba nodded her head; after some time had passed Sojiro walked in, alongside Sae, both were helping Akira inside Sojiro's house; after a quick patch up from both Luna and Futaba, Sojiro had left to close up his shop, as Sae had to return to avoid suspicion.
"Told ya I wasn't planning on dying", Akira mumbled
"Yet the world now thinks you're dead", Luna stated
"Not only that, we have the name of the true culprit; Akechi gave out the name "Shido", we're going to discuss this with everyone tomorrow at Leblanc", Futaba explained, "Sojiro's closing up Leblanc for us to talk about what happened",
"As of right now, you need to rest up", Luna stated
"Luna's rooming with me tonight, if you need anything, just let us know", Futaba stated as Akira nodded his head.
