"How about Mt. Fuji", Ryuji asked with a bored tone, trying anything at the point they were in
"No match found"
"A mansion", Ann asked, bored as well
"No match found"
"How about a school", Haru asked,
"No match found"
"An arena or colosseum", Yusuke asked

"Imperial Palace", Futaba asked

"Last one, diamond mine", Haru asked once again
"No match found"
"Its no good", Makoto mumbled in defeat
"We have no clue what the last keyword is, as of right now, it seems as if we might not get in at all", Luna mumbled in defeat as well
"I did some research on him last night, but I couldn't find out anything", Yusuke said
"If I remember correctly, he said in his speech that he would steer Japan to a brighter era", Morgana stated
"Steer... as in a ship", Akira asked
"Input accepted, searching for route to destination"
"Wait, the buildings a ship", Ryuji asked in confusion
"It seems so, are we ready to go in", Morgana asked as everyone nodded their heads and activated the Meta-Nav.

(Metaverse, Shido's Palace)
The Phantom Thieves arrived in the Metaverse, the Diet Building was right in front of them as a part of what appeared to be a cruise ship; what shocked the Phantom Thieves, was where the ship was at... Japan was flooded and Shido's Cruise Ship was floating on the submerged country; with everything they saw, the Phantom Thieves entered the Cruise Ship, inside stood many people dressed fancy almost as if they're at a masquerade party; the Phantom Thieves' outfits changed, however, the passengers of the ship didn't seem to notice, some who did thought of them as performers; however the Phantom Thieves made their way to a giant door with five slots.
"I wonder what's in here", Skull asked
"The slots look to fit keycards", Oracle stated
"Should we find these keycards", Fox asked
"I don't think it's keycards, it's something with loyalty", Mona stated
"So... we gotta prove that we're on his side", Panther asked
"I've overheard some people talking about letters of introduction and politicians who can give them to some people", Noir stated
"From what I can gather here, the first politician's location is at a restaurant; the second is on the pool deck; the third is at a casino-type of room; the fourth stays in his room; and the last one, he's just known as "The Cleaner", Oracle explained, "it'd be best if we go after the first four before we go after him",
"Alright, to the restaurant", Joker stated as everyone nodded their heads and began making their way towards the restaurant; as they entered, they were told that there was only a table for two available.
"There's an open table near the one where the first politician will sit at", Queen stated, "I'll go, he may become guarded if we go in a big group",
"Wouldn't it be suspicious if you were by yourself", Noir asked
"Anyone wanna go with me", Queen asked
"I'll go with ya, I mean, it's a restaurant", Skull said happily as almost everyone facepalmed at Skull's statement; Queen and Skull then sat down at the table as the others watched from afar, the first politician then approached the table; although the Phantom Thieves couldn't hear what was going on Makoto was able to get the first letter of introduction.
"One down, four more to go", Light stated
"Next up, the pool", Skull stated, as everyone began making their way outside and towards the pool deck; the pool was closed due to a masquerade dance that was happening outside, and in the crowd, they spotted the second politician. (didn't really like the pool scene, so I'm changing it)
"Everyone's dressed so fancy, if we were to go out there, we'd be kicked out on sight", Noir explained
"I have an idea, girls... come with me", Panther stated as she then began dragging the girls away towards a changing room; after awhile the girls came out in beautiful dresses, the boys couldn't help but stare at them.
"We'll go out there and get the letter of introduction, then meet up back here", Oracle stated as then the girls made their way outside and into the party, Panther was the only one who ended up getting close to the second politician by lying and saying that she was royalty, and got the second letter of introduction; with some help from the others they were able to get out and back to the boys; however, making a quick stop to the changing room to change back into their normal attire.
"Next stop, the casino area", Queen stated as they then began navigating their way down in the ship and into the casino area; the Phantom Thieves easily spotted the third politician, Noir then walked up to him, and from what the Phantom Thieves saw, Noir was successful.
"Two more to go, from the layout, we're near the side of the ship, the fourth politician's room should be there", Oracle said, as then they made their way towards the side of the ship; using the grappling hook, Joker was able to get Oracle up; after awhile, the two were then brought down safely, the fourth letter of introduction in Oracle's hands.
"From what I gathered from the politician, "The Cleaner" is in the engine room, there should be a ventilation shaft here that will take us there", Oracle stated, walking around for a bit, they found the said ventilation shaft and began crawling through the vents and into the engine room, making their way up to a small room, they encountered the man named "The Cleaner".
"I've heard about you all", The Cleaner said as he then took off his jacket his tattoo's surprised the Phantom Thieves, for he was a member of the Yakuza.
"What clan are you from", The Cleaner asked
"Wait, do he mean "clean up" problems by making people disappear", Oracle mumbled
"It seems that Shido has close ties to the underground", Fox muttered
"How are we supposed to get the letter of introduction from him", Queen asked
"Hey, I'm a busy man, so state your business", The Cleaner shouted
"How much for a letter of introduction", Joker asked
"And why should I give you one", The Cleaner asked in an angry tone
"You like tattoo's right... we have an artist with us, how about it, a tattoo design for a letter of introduction", Panther asked trying to hide her fear
"Alright, if this artist can make a godly phoenix to fit my godly personality, the letter's yours, fail, then I'll have your lives", The Cleaner stated as Fox sighed
"Bring me a brush and a piece of paper", Fox ordered as said items were delivered to him, Fox began drawing; after awhile, Fox stated that he was finished, "The Cleaner" seemed to like it which shocked the Phantom Thieves, but nonetheless, the final letter was now in their hands.
"We got them all, let's head back and get into the treasure room", Joker stated as everyone nodded their heads, as they ran back the Phantom Thieves heard someone land behind them, turning around... they saw Crow.
