"If you're going after Kamoshida... let me in on it too", Ann said in a dark tone
"You can't come with us, so please, go away", Ryuji yelled as Ann then ran off
"Really, Ryuji", Luna said, anger in her tone
"That was harsh", Morgana added
"We can't take her somewhere like that", Ryuji stated as everyone then pulled out their phones
"The moment we cross over, we'll treat each other like Phantom Thieves, so I hope you're ready", Morgana stated
"Phantom Thieves", Ryuji asked confused
"Those who covertly sneak in and stylishly steal treasure--that is what we become", Morgana explained
"I see", Akira said
"So, we just say the school, Kamoshida's name, and... castle, then we end up in bizarro world", Ryuji asked as Morgana nodded his head
"Let's go", Morgana said as Akira activated the MetaNav, little did they know Ann was watching them from the corner.
(Metaverse, Kamoshida's castle)
"Alright, time to bust on through", Ryuji stated
"What is this", Ann shouted as she walked up to everyone
"T-Takamaki", Ryuji said in shock and confusion
"Ryuji", Ann asked confused; after talking, and Ann getting no answers to her questions everyone pushed Ann outside the metaverse and turned back towards the castle
"The shadows have noticed us, you better brace yourselves, for it", Morgana stated as he soon looked over at Akira, "We're counting on you, Joker",
"Joker, that a nickname", Ryuji asked
"It's a code name", Morgana stated, "who would use their real name, and there's no telling what effect telling our real names will have on the palace",
"So, why's he Joker", Ryuji asked
"Because he's our trump card when it comes to fighting strength", Morgana stated
"Not bad", Akira said
"Alright, next up is you Ryuji, you'll be... let's see... "Thug", Morgana said
"No, let me pick it... I like the mask, just name me after that", Ryuji stated
"Fine... Why not "Skull" then", Morgana said as Ryuji was happy with his new code name
"Alright, now for Luna", Morgana said
"I'd have to go with your gun blade and say... "Sniper", Ryuji said
"No", Luna said, bluntly
"What do you want to be named", Morgana asked
"Let's see... how about... Light", Luna asked in which everyone seemed to like her code name, "alright, Light it is",
"Now for Morgana, how about Mona", Ryuji asked which Morgana was alright with.
"Alright, from here on our we're Joker, Skull, Light, and Mona, were going to be using those code names for now on", Morgana stated as everyone nodded their heads in agreement for their code names; soon everyone then made their way into the palace.
(Meanwhile)
Ann walked back into the entrance of Kamoshida's Palace
"Alright, just said the words Ryuji said and now I'm here", Ann mumbled as then two guards ran up to her
"Princess, what are you doing out here", a guard asked which confused Ann... a lot
"Let's bring her back to King Kamoshida", the other guard stated as they began walking towards Ann
(Back with the Thieves)
Everyone had gotten far in the castle but was stopped by what seemed to be Ann's voice, from the sound of it... she had been caught
"She must've been caught", Mona stated
"But, how did she get in here", Skull asked
"We'll ask her that later, let's go rescue her", Light stated as everyone backtracked through the castle; soon everyone came into a room where guards were around Ann, Shadow Kamoshida was there too, with a cognition on Ann.
"How dare you mistake her as my Ann", Shadow Kamoshida sneered as he then turned towards the cognition of Ann; however, the cognition called out the Phantom Thieves and guards were all around them.
"So... the brats return, but your too late to save your friend... kill her", Shadow Kamoshida ordered as a guard came close to Ann, sword out and ready
"No, it can't end like this", Ann mumbled, panic laced in her voice
"Ann, you gotta fight, remember what you told me, about how you want to avenge Shiho, don't throw that away now", Light shouted, Ann said nothing but soon looked at Shadow Kamoshida with rage
"I'm not going to die here, I'm going to make you pay for what you did to Shiho", Ann shouted as she then held her head in pain
"My... it's taken far too long,"
"I am thou... thou art I"
"Thou can finally forge a contract"
Ann, now with her persona, Carmen, took out her cognitive look-alike and scared Shadow Kamoshida away.
"We gotta get outta here", Mona said as everyone left the castle with Ann in tow
(Real world, Shujin Academy)
Everyone then appeared back in the real world; after a bit of rest for Ann, everyone walked towards the train station where Ryuji wandered off for a bit, but came back with some sodas; as everyone, with the exception of Morgana, held out their bottle of soda as they not only cheered for their new member, but the start of the Phantom Thieves' first mission... to take Kamoshida down.
