Makoto and Ann sat in the student council room, the other student council members were out in the cafeteria leaving the room open for the two girls
"Sorry for asking you here like this", Ann said worried that she annoyed Makoto
"Oh no, it's not a problem..., I actually find it refreshing to be asked to the student council room, Makoto said, " although its somewhat nerve-racking as well",
"I think... I'm a bit nervous myself", Ann mumbled making Makoto confused as Ann stood up from her seat
"Anyway, um... I wanted to apologize", Ann said nervously
"What do you mean", Makoto asked confused
"You know, how I blamed you for Kamoshida, I wanted to apologize for that...I've honestly been meaning to this whole time", Ann explained, "I realized later that Shiho was calling out for me... and I wasn't there to help her, I didn't want to admit my own guilt... so I took it out on you, I'm very sorry",
"You don't have to do that, in fact, I think the two of us are pretty similar", Makoto said making Ann confused, "I was unable to save anyone, not Suzui-san, or any of Kaneshiro's victims; I kept telling myself I wasn't at fault because I was simply following orders, yet... all that was a lie",
"I see... in that case, wanna call it even", Ann asked making Makoto chuckle
"Yeah, how about we leave this conversation in the past", Makoto said as Ann nodded her head in agreement
"Makoto, I have a question", Ann asked
"What is it", Makoto responded
"Do you know if Luna and Akira are a thing, I know that you can tell most things", Ann asked making Makoto laugh
"No, they're not, but it's obvious that they like each other, I'm not even sure on what holds them back from telling each other", Makoto said with a laugh
"Me either", Ann said as both her and Makoto kept talking
(After School, Shibuya, Access-way)
"I never imagined that I would end up helping the Phantom Thieves", Makoto mumbled, "things would get interesting if my sister ever found out",
"There's no time to be getting sentimental here", Morgana stated
"Yes, I understand, I do have one request about all of this though, can you teach me to be a Phantom Thief, like... about the Metaverse, for example", Makoto asked
"Simply put, that world is formed of a person's cognition, there you can change people's hearts", Yusuke explained
"Yeah, I've gathered that much just from going there once, but the method of transportation still eludes me... I mean, it's a smartphone navigation app", Makoto said confused
"You only need a name, a location, and a distortion, after the first entry, the palace is bookmarked", Yusuke stated
"You really just make it sound like an ordinary app... aren't there any dangers associated with it", Makoto asked
"Don't worry 'bout that, we've already been a bunch of times", Ryuji said
"That's not what I meant", Makoto mumbled
"We're still learning things ourselves, I hope your sharp wit can help us with that", Morgana asked
"Thank you, I'll do my best", Makoto said with a smile
"So, what's our time limit this time, I doubt we have much time to spare at this point", Morgana asked
"Kaneshiro's henchman said the deadline is July 9th", Makoto stated
"There's no way high schoolers could really bring in three million yen", Ann said
"And that's why he's blackmailing us, if we can't pay, he'll do much worse than just blackmail", Makoto said with a sigh, "but for now, we need to stop him from releasing those photo's, if the public got a hold of them...",
"It's down the drain for all our lives", Luna mumbled
"Come on, we gotta take care of him before the time limit, we'll bounce back from this", Ryuji said, "plus people'll really start admirin' us if we can manage to take him down",
"Yeah, this is the perfect opportunity, we have to succeed, no matter what", Morgana said
"With that said, let's begin", Akira said activating the Meta-Nav

(Metaverse, Kaneshiro's Palace)
"So, what am I going to be called, you all were using code names, weren't you", Makoto asked
"You're quite perceptive", Fox said with a smile
"This time's a hard one... maybe somethin' like "shoulder pads", Skull said
"Seriously, out of the code names you gave Ann and I, you seriously say, "shoulder pads" Light yelled as Panther slapped him on the back of his head
"I refuse to be called that", Makoto mumbled with a small hint of anger
"What about "Rider", Fox asked
"Sounds too much like a smuggler, next", Makoto stated
"Fixer", Panther asked
"I'm not a mastermind though, next", Makoto said
"She reminds me of an empress", Mona muttered
"How about queen", Joker asked
"I see it", Light said with a smile
"Me too", Panther said with a smile as well
"It fits so well that I'm at a loss for words here", Mona muttered
"Queen, it has a nice ring to it, I like it, let's go with that", Queen said as everyone began walking forward, Queen walked up towards Light
"Luna-Chan, what did you mean by other code names that Ryuji gave you", Queen asked
"In the beginning, when we started being the Phantom Thieves, he gave me the code name Sniper, due to my gunblade weapon; Ann's was Sexy Cat, and believe me, Ryuji almost died due to Ann's punches", Light responded as the two laughed and continued forward, towards the bank; as they reached the entrance, they found it locked, barricaded, and under construction due to what happened last time; after searching around for a bit, they felt a draft coming from a lone pig statue; Joker cautiously pushed the placard in and the statue moved revealing a secret entrance; as they all re-entered the bank, they saw a lot of shadow security guards, shadow guard dogs, and a lot of security cameras.
"Looks like he beefed up security", Skull said looking around
"Still, we should be on guard", Queen stated as everyone nodded and continued forward.
