(Daytime, Yongen Jaya, Café Leblanc, Akira's Room)
From most of the early morning, everyone was preparing, for the thieves were to re-infiltrate Futaba's Palace; once everyone was ready, and well prepared, they all entered Café Leblanc, and walked upstairs; as soon as all the Phantom Thieves were there, they all sat down and began the team meeting.
"I'm honestly surprised at the Palace this time... everywhere we looked was just desert", Morgana said in surprise
"Oh yeah, all the other ones until now have just been normal cities outside of the distortion itself", Ann stated
"Thanks to that, we didn't even know we were in a palace our first time goin' into Kamoshida's", Ryuji mumbled
"That's still part of the palace though, the city may not have been distorted, but it was a cognition, the palace rulers may have been criminals", Morgana explained, "but they were social enough to know the city layout, but Futaba probably doesn't... in fact, I'd bet she isn't even interested in the outside world",
"Hence why the whole thing is a bleak desert... understandable, considering her lifestyle", Yusuke said
"I doubt many famous criminals are shut-ins like her though, hopefully that means we won't have to go through all this desert business in the future", Ann stated
"That aside, is everyone ready to take on the palace again", Morgana asked
"Yeah, this time, I brought this", Ryuji said as he pulled out a grappling hook from his bag
"A grappling hook, you really brought it", Ann asked
"Yeah, you never know when we might need it", Ryuji said with a smile as everyone got then got up

(Metaverse, Futaba's Palace)
Everyone arrived back in the Metaverse, and drove towards the pyramid; luckily for the thieves, the drive wasn't too long, as everyone entered the palace, the giant doors were still closed tight, and Shadow Futaba stood in the grand entrance; and the thieves carefully approached Shadow Futaba
"Welcome back, I had thought I would never see you again", Shadow Futaba said calmly
"We're only here 'cause we gotta be, I can't believe you tried to drop a boulder on us; do you want us to steal your treasure or no", Skull yelled in anger, but Shadow Futaba began floating up then disappeared; then all of a sudden, the floor everyone was standing on opened causing everyone to fall, and everyone landed in quicksand.
"Quicksand", Mona yelled in surprise
"Everyone keep your arms up", Light ordered as everyone did as she said
"Ryuji, where's your grappling hook", Joker asked
"Ah... it's right here", Skull said handing Joker the grappling hook
"Wait, it's retractable, it might be able to get us out of here", Mona said in shock
"Thank you metaverse for turning something cheap into something cool", Skull shouted with a smile as Joker threw the grappling hook upward and it landed on a statue on the main floor; everyone held onto each other as Joker retracted the grappling hook, pulling everyone up and out of the quicksand and to the main floor; as everyone was back on the main floor, the floor they all fell through closed back up.
"First the boulder, then quicksand, did we make her mad", Panther asked in confusion
"I don't think it has anything to do with us angering her, I suspect the problem is that she can't control her instinct to push people away from her", Mona stated
