The Outcasts

Chapter 13 -Dance Battle-

Andrew quickly spun around and saw Illuminate. His entire face went white and he looked as if he'd pass out.

Illuminate brought his fist down in one quick motion. Addison let out a scream but stopped when she noticed that Illuminate didn't at all hit Andrew, but struck an air guitar. She raised an eyebrow in confusion.

Her sudden scream had woken everyone up and they all didn't know what to think. They all got up and raced over to Andrew and Addison. Rocco had his small dagger in his hand, that he apparently slept with. Danez and Candaler had their arms crossed and were at the front of the group. Trying to look intimidating.

Illuminate took a large step backwards and suddenly upbeat music started playing.

"What the heck..." Addison said, "What's happening?"

"Oh no. Not again." Rocco muttered, rolling his eyes.

Suddenly five other guys appeared in a line behind Illuminate. They looked like him, made of lights, but four of them looked the same, with an outline like gloves. A shirt with a large 'I' in the center and sunglasses. But one of them was different, he stood in the middle of the four. He was of course made from lights like Illuminate, but he didn't have a face, instead he have a large 'I' and a mouth below it. He had an outline of what seemed to be messy hair and wore headphones. He wore what looked like the outline of a hoodie and large boots.

The guy in the middle began singing.

"Ooh..." He sang, his voice was robotic.

Addison looked at Andrew and then at Rocco. She had no idea what to think. Andrew still looked terrified. Grimm stood behind Addison. She looked over her shoulder at Grimm.

"What's going on?" She asked.

Grimm shrugged, "I have no idea..." She whispered.

Soon the other four piped in with the other guy. Singing the same note. Illuminate looked as if he was waiting for his queue. Addison really wanted to leave but she still felt a bit terrified but what was going on made her feel very uncomfortable.

"Guess who's back again?" Suddenly Illuminate sang, it was the first time Addison heard his voice. He sounded like a middle aged man, his voice wasn't robotic like the others. She couldn't lie. His voice was pretty good.

Addison shifted in her spot, she didn't know what to do. Were they just going to sit there and watch as Illuminate performed for them!

The music suddenly changed that it almost startled Addison. It became louder but the same upbeat tune. Then they all started to dance. It wasn't a bad dance, it was actually quite interesting to watch, it would've been even better if they weren't terrified for their lives every second they watched. Their performance really went well with the upbeat music but suddenly Illuminate stepped closer to Addison and winked at her with his glowing red eyes. Andrew pulled her closer to him, to protect her.

Illuminate then grabbed Addison by the wrist and pulled her from Andrew's side and out with him. She let out a yelp and Rocco immediately leaped out from the crowd and held his dagger in front of him. Illuminate laughed at him and snapped his fingers. His five minion guys then flickered away and appeared behind Rocco and grabbed him from behind.

Illuminate held Addison close and covered her mouth with his hand. Andrew was freaking out.

"Someone! Do something!" He said in a panic. Illuminate laughing at his panic.

Rocco let out a hiss and growl. He ripped out of the grasps of Illuminate's minions. We then spun around swiftly and tried to smack them but they flashed and disappeared. Rocco then turned his attention towards Illuminate. They locked eyes and the music stopped. Rocco dove at Illuminate.

Illuminate dropped Addison to the ground and dodged Rocco's move. Rocco threw himself at him again. Illuminate ducked, spun around to face Rocco and kicked him in the stomach. Rocco let out a whine and bent over, grasping his stomach.

"I've been waiting for this day, Andrew Ly. I see you've gave me a free kill?" Illuminate laughed, looking at Andrew. He grabbed Addison from off the ground and pulled her close to him again with a chuckle.

"You're such a fool. You're to afraid to save your own friends, you wimp! I'll kill them off too, just like the rest of them!"

Tears filled Andrew's blue eyes and he shook his head.

"Stop it!" He screamed, "You're a monster!"

"Andrew, please." Addison cried, trying to keep her tears back.

Andrew looked at poor Addison. He wanted to save her but he was to afraid.

Grimm and Candaler watched in fear, not knowing what to do. Danez finally took action. He stepped forwards with his arms crossed.

"I will not let you do this to my friends!" Danez spoke loudly, his voice booming.

Illuminate laughed again, like everything was one big joke.

"So is buff grandpa gonna come and save his little puppy." Illuminate laughed shaking Addison.

Addison looked up at Danez, this time her tears were streaming. Danez looked at her, he looked afraid for the first time.

Danez then stepped up to Illuminate. He shook his head and was ready to throw a a powerful punch when Illuminate winked and there was a loud click and they disappeared, Addison with him.
