Addison slowly opened her eyes the next morning, the sun beat down through her bedroom window. She frowned, she didn't want to be in her room, she wanted to be in space.
As Addison climbed out of bed she heard a thud on her window. She spun around in fright and noticed the Messenger Bot! It was hovering just outside her window. She quickly jumped back onto her bed and open the window to let the robot inside. It flew in and landed on her bed next to her. She quickly opened the door to see a different little paper. She grabbed it and opened it quickly and read the letter.
It said: 'Addison, we all know how much this is affecting you and it's affecting me so much. I miss you and care about you so so much, but we all told you we need to protect you from Illuminate. He will come for you again for revenge if we don't hide you, and this is the best place. I love you. - Andrew'
Addison sighed and folded the paper back up and stuck it in her pocket before grabbing herself another piece of paper and begun writing a response. Before she could even finish writing the first word she heard footsteps running towards her. She quickly shoved the bot under her blankets again and not a second after Charlotte ran into her room.
"Phew, it wasn't a dream." Charlotte gasped as she straightened herself in the doorway, "Now get up, I'm taking you to achool."
"Wait, I just got back home. Do I have to go to school?" Addison frowned.
Charlotte nodded, "Uh duh, you've been gone for a month!"
Addison looked at Charlotte. Had it really been that long, it really didn't feel like it. Addison sighed and then nodded. Charlotte slightly smiled back and left Addison's room. Addison stood up from her bed and changed her clothes. Thinking about it she hadn't been able to change her clothes since she left. She scrunched up her nose and put on a red t-shirt with a separate pair of jeans.
Addison left her bedroom and into the kitchen to grab her some yogurt. Charlotte dug around her purse for her car keys.
"Will I be able to see Wyatt today?" Addison asked as she peeled off the plastic of the yogurt cup and grabbed a spoon.
Charlotte nodded, "Ya, I'll be picking him up from school. The White's are taking him there today."
"Okay." Addison responded, eating her yogurt.
Charlotte pulled her keys out of her purse, "Ah ha! Come on let's go." She exclaimed as she headed out of the kitchen and left the apartment.
Addison followed her out the apartment, still holding her yogurt.
The two hopped into Charlotte's small white car. Addison sat it front next to her sister. Charlotte started the car and they drive off, out of the parking lot.
Charlotte eyed Addison a smile on her face, "It's so crazy to have you back. I thought I'd lost you and that I had failed mom."
Addison rubbed her scar on her wrist and looked at Charlotte, "Heh, ya. It's crazy to be back."
Charlotte kept her eyes on the road. She sighed, "I know you felt like I didn't love you and that I was a big jerk, and I realize that. It was just so stressful for me to take care of you two, it always has been."
Addison looked down at her hands in her lap. She didn't answer. She thought about her words. It was true, it was just odd to hear her admit it.
"Addi?" Charlotte asked looking over at Addison. She quickly noticed the scar on her wrist. She paused, "What's that?" She quickly asked reached for her hand with one hand.
