Jason and Addison walked down the streets of the city. Cars and other vehicles passed by them as they walked. Addison would quickly and awkwardly look at Jason, she was pretty shy around him at the beginning but as they started conversation she grew more and more comfortable around him.

"So how long have you been living here?" Jason asked her with a grin on his face.

"Pretty much my entire life." Addison replied to him, "So where did you move here from?"

"Well I actually use to live all the way in California but my father's job transfered him to their headquarters here." Jason responded.

"Wow, that's pretty far, considering its all the way on the other side of the country." Addison said with a little chuckle, "So what city?"

"Los Angeles." Jason simply replied.

"Wow, that's huge compared to here in Delaware." Addison said.

"Ya, this place is a lot more chill. I like it." Jason softly said with a smile as he looked around at the buildings.

It didn't take them very long, about ten minutes, until they arrived. Jason opened the door for Addison as they entered, a small little bell rang above the door, as they entered the soda shop decorated like the 1950s.

As they entered a few people turned and glanced at Addison as they sipped their soda. One middle aged woman on her phone glanced up and gasped.

"Is that Alien Girl...?" She whispered to her friend next to her.

"Oh my gosh it is!" Her friend replied quietly.

Addison looked down at the floor as her entire face went red. Jason looked around at everyone stating at them. He turned to Addison.

"What are they talking about?" He asked Addison.

Addison looked up slightly and pulled a strand of her hair in front of her face, "I-its nothing."

Jason gave Addison a strange look before nodding, "Okay..." He then went to the counter to order himself a drink.

Addison turned around and went to find them a seat, she went to a table for two next to the window that faced the street. She sat down and looked out the window to block out all the staring eyes.

It didn't take long until one man came up to her and sat down across to her, his eyes full if wonder. He stared at her for a short while before speaking.

"Wow. I can't believe you're back, I can't believe you're even alive. You know I saw it happen. I saw you be taken away from my bedroom window. You must've been terrified! I've never believed there was anything up there until then, it was crazy." He spoke to her.

Addison slowly glanced at him and looked at him awkwardly. She didn't know what to reply she just slowly nodded.

All Addison could really think of is how terribly bad The Outcasts did on keeping her kidnap a secret. Now the whole world knows somethings out there in space. She couldn't decide if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Would they help them or attack them?

Addison quickly stood up in her seat. The man still staring at her in awe. She hastily left the table and went towards Jason who had just gotten the drinks.

"Hey. I got you one too." Jason told her happily, but his smile faded when he saw her expression.

"Jason..." Addison quietly whispered to him, still ignoring all the eyes, "You think we could take the drinks somewhere else?"

Jason raised an eyebrow at her and looked around at everyone in the shop. He looked back at Addison and nodded, he could see her uneasiness. He smiled and handed her her drink.

"Of course, let's go." Jason replied with a grin.

Addison smiled back at him awkwardly and they quickly left the shop, everyone watching as they went.

As they walked down the street again Jason handed Addison her drink. And he turned to her sipping his soda.

"So, why was everyone watching us?" He asked.

Addison sighed, "It's, it's crazy. I don't think you'll get it."

Jason frowned and stopped walking, "Come on. Please tell me."

Addison frowned, "Have you not noticed?" She put her free hand on her hip.

"Noticed what?" He curiously asked her.

Addison sighed and looked at the street of cars zooming by. She then eyed a bench outside of a barber shop on the street.

"Here, let's sit. If you really want to know..." Addison said waving Jason towards her as she sat down on the bench.

Jason nodded and placed himself next to her.

"Alright. Shoot." Jason said pointing a finger gun at Addison.

"Okay. Fine." Addison sighed, "It's crazy, and hard to believe. I barely could believe it myself."

"Okay. So what did I not notice." He asked her.

Addison tapped her fingers on the foam cup that held her drink, "Everyone in school. They all call me that Alien Girl."

Jason nodded, "Oh, that, I've noticed. I just thought it was some sort of nick name or somethin'. What does it really mean then?"

Addison rubbed the side of her face, "This is kind of where it gets crazy. "

"Crazy's fun." Jason laughed slightly.

Addison gave him a half smile, "Well this is different." She began, setting her cup down next to her.

"The reason everyone is acting weird around me is because..." Addison took a deep breath, "I was abducted by aliens... in a way."

Jason stared at her blankly, "What?"

"See what I mean." Addison said. "It's crazy."

Jason eyed Addison, he laughed quietly, "You were right. It is crazy."

"I know it's hard to believe, but it really happened." Addison said. "I swear."

"It's crazy, for sure." Jason said, "But, I'll trust you. For now." He smiled and put his arm around Addison and pulled her close.

Addison's entire face went red and she rubbed the back of her neck.

"Heh, thanks Jason." She replied looking over at him. His gorgeous blue eyes locked with hers. They stared into each others eyes for an awkward amount of time before Addison laughed nervously and glanced down. Jason shook himself back into reality and rubbed the back of his head and laughed also.

He cleared his throat and straightened himself, "Uh, ya. So, um, we should do this again sometime."

Addison smiled, "Ya, that'd be great."

"Here let me walk you home." Jason said standing up and taking Addison by the hand and helping her up.

"Even though we live in the same building." Addison said with a laugh.

Jason smiled and they both headed down the street back towards the apartment building.

Addison finally had a friend on Earth.
