Chapter 12

Ok, let the games begin. 

As we head out to position, Marlene asks us a question, "What's our plan?"

"Idk, but we should have a team name, and we should bet them!" Chris says

"Ya!" our team whisper yells

"Ok, we should be the...pansycakes!" I tell them

"Ya!" we all say

"Ok. Boys!" I yell

"What?" they scream

"You guys have to have a team name, and we are going to make a deal with you." I say

"Ok, we are the...pansycakes!" says Tobias.

"Nope, that's our name!" Mar yells.

"Fine, then," Toby pauses, "We will be the butter knifes!"

"Butter knifes?"

"Yes. Got a problem?"

"No, I'm just confused,"

"Well it's the best excuse for anything. Like if someone says 'What happened to your eye?' 'Butter knife', 'What are you late for class?' 'I was attacked with butter knifes' or like-" I cut him off.

"I don't even want to know," I say.

"Well I wanna play so lets go pansycakes!" yells Uriah.

"1, 2, 3, 4, go!" yells Zeke.

All the girls run away to the big inflatable ball and hide in it. "So I think we should have like one or two people at a time go look for people, then come back and tell us and then we go shoot them, and come back here." I say, everyone looks shocked. What?

"Did you just come up this now? Like off the top of your head?" Shaunna asks.

"Yeah, why?" I say.

"Wow you're smart!" says Lynn.

"Oh, sure," I say sarcastically.

"No really you are!" they all say.

"Thanks, but lets stick to the plan, Lynn and Shaunna, go first!"

"Ok, brb!" Lynn yells. They leave and come back about two minutes later, and out of breath. "They saw us! They saw us!" Lynn says running into our big inflatable ball.

"Did they see you run in here?" I ask.

"Yes! Abort mission! I repeat, abort mission!" and we run out, only to be ambushed by the boys. We all scream as the colorful paint hits us.We all shoot at the boys. I seem to get lucky because I'm so short, and I don't get hit. I immediately run away. I realized all the boys were there but Toby. All the boys were shot by us. All I have to do is- "Surprise attack!" Toby cuts my thoughts off. Before I can think he tackles me and says, "Any last words Beatrice Prior?"

"Yes, I-I" I whisper the last part, "I'm sorry" and I shoot him. I just have a laugh attack.Then I realize we shot each other at the same time. 

"We will have a tie breaker in a little bit." he says.

"Ok," we all walk home. He finally speaks up.

"Our tie breaker is..."

Ha ha ha ha ha! Cliffhanger! Omg it feels like I hven't updated in forever! I will update when I have 2k reads! I will also update Thursday too, but I will post an extra one once I have 2k reads. Byeeeee! ~Lily
