Rewind~
Can't we just escape to our dreams
As life falls apart at it's seems
Reality has lost it's appeal to me
Closing my eyes just to be free
The lights go out
The fire dims
Leaving behind no remains
But the heart stays the same
We can't rewind back to that time
Where life freezes for us
the clock stops at the thought of you
And I'm brought back to the promise
Of tomorrow becoming yesterday
And today being just another day
Of me dreaming
Of you believing
That the other would come back too
