I've given this a lot of thought
I'm stuck in my own head
Tried to say it
But I forgot
If I told you, I'd be dead
You shouldn't know how I feel
How broken I am inside
These things aren't real
The things I try to hide
Moving back and forth
It's tearing me apart
I'm keeping them from you
Because I think you'll break my heart
Do you feel the same way
Do you hide it too
If I could die today
Could it all still come true
The dark things must stay
Inside, It's better for you
Would you leave me
With these unreal friends
Do I need to give them up
To make amends
Would you believe me
If I loved you more than them
Would you forgive it
Or would there be mayhem
