In the hum of lullabies

With a warmth of fire

At the dark of the night

With a heart filled

By the golden light

You bring me with you

As long as you're here

I'm here for you my dear

So child don't cry

I'm not saying goodbye

I'm simply growing up

We all do yet we don't

Never told when to stop

These childish things

They are apart of life

Yet we forgot

Because to truly grow up

Where's the fun in that
