Welcome to the last chapter of this book!

Loreen's P.O.V.

I watched as they took my father's body away. The ambulance came and pronounce him dead. The funeral was depressing. Not just because it was a funeral but because they were only like 5 people there. He was buried and the grass grew over the dirt. I got better and got some great news.

But that was almost 10 months ago. I finished up school and graduated and Ethan was there with me throughout the whole thing. Ethan has been there for me for the last year and no matter what, he never leaves my side. We were meant to be together.

After I got better and things were improving, Ethan surprised me with an apartment for us to live in together. He showed me the rooms; there were two bedrooms and one bathroom with a living room and a kitchen with a small dining room. It was perfect for us.

Though it had two rooms. I got news of an extra family member coming in a couple months. I was ecstatic and couldn't wait to tell Ethan. Thinking about how I told Ethan still makes me smile at how everything went so perfectly.

The second room in the apartment was still empty so I decided to go out and buy decorations. I bought a crib and a car seat and a diaper changing station and a bunch of baby toys with diapers. Inside of the crib, I put the sonogram pictures.

I asked Ethan if he could go get my phone from the "spare" room and as he got up I followed him. As he opened the door to the spare room, he saw the decorations and he turned around and looked at me with a huge smile on his face.

"What all this, Lor!" he had said excitedly, still smiling like a goofball.

"Get my phone. It's in the crib," I had said to him smiling.

As he looked in the crib, he pulled out the pictures of our baby.

"You?" he asked.

I nodded my head at him, smiling.

"Pregnant?" he asked

"Mhmm," I smiled at him.

"How?" he asked.

"Do I need to explain to you how a baby is made, E," I ask him.

"What?!" he had yelled. He had walked up to me and kissed me so passionately. He held onto my slightly rounded stomach covered with a baggy shirt. He bent down and kissed my stomach.

"I love you both so much," he says quietly, "no matter what."

I return back to the present, almost 5 months later. I keep thinking back to that joyous moment to take me out of this moment. This painful moment, with me drenched in sweat and screaming as I hold onto Ethan's hand.

As the doctor tells me to not push yet, another screaming pain shots up my body. I flop my body back down on the hospital bed and squeeze Ethan's hand. Ethan looks at me with worried and loving eyes.

He leans in and kisses my forehead, still holding my hand. After what feels like hours later, the doctors tell me to push. Multiple painful pushes later, there is relief of pressure and the doctor yells a couple commands.

I hear the doctor say, "It's a boy." I smile, glad that we decided to keep it a surprise.

Ethan smiles at me and kisses my lips as I chuckle.

"I love you," we say at the same time. Then we laugh. The doctor comes around and puts our baby boy in my arms. I feel all of my love seep out of my body and into this child. He's so beautiful and I swear that he will always be safe as long as he is in my arms. I won't let him get hurt.

"Hi, baby boy," Ethan says.

"Aiden?" I ask, looking at our baby boy.

"Aiden," Ethan agrees.
