Chapter 13: Garden

[ KAITLIN'S P.O.V. ]

The silent forest became disturb by my loud scream as I crumple to the ground due to the excruciating pain in my whole body.

The angel stares at me with panic eyes as he tried to calm me down.

Slowly, the pain became lesser until it concentrated on my back hand as blood flowed out of my flesh.

Sob after sob, my body weaken as tears roll down my cheeks making my eye sight blurry.

"Shh... you'll be fine" the angel comforted me as his wings wrap itself around my body protectively, making me feel safe.

But the pain overpowers that feeling making me scream once again as I felt something being encrypted on my back hand.

Unable to bear the pain for long, I lost my consciousness.

I could hear the water dripping somewhere. slowly, I open my eyes only to see pitch black just like my other dreams but the difference right now, is that I'm not standing for I'm laying on my back to the cold floor.

As I try to sit upright, the water moves in a gentle flow creating circular motions.

Once I got up into my standing position. I walk to who knows where. Attempting to find something that could end this dream.

The only thing that I had found since earlier is the sound of the water dripping as it echo all throughout the place.

Until its gone, living me with nothing anymore but instead of feeling alone and sad its somewhat nothing.

'What's going on? and where am I?'

These are the thoughts that keeps coming through my mind as I see nothing, hear nothing, smell nothing and even felt nothing.

Still, I move forward with no direction to the point where I want to give up but by then a white glow unexpectedly appear.

Seeing that this might be my chance to get out, I run hurriedly towards it and when my hand touches the light.

The pitch black area is replace by a beautiful garden.

The garden is so enchanting as different flowers and plants grow while different breeds of animals wander around it.

It was the first time that I have seen such a marvelous scenery making me fall for this place but what really caught my attention is the large cherry blossom that is in full bloom at the center of the garden.

Its petals are gracefully falling from its branch into the ground that I can't help myself but want to see it up close.

And once I'm near it, I rested my hand on its trunk as I feel its rough edges giving me warmth and strangely enough the tree's petal slowly revolves around me as the wind carries them in mid air.

"How beautiful" I whispered when I saw the vast garden from where I am.

"This place has always been your favorite, isn't it Lin?" Someone said but I didn't feel the need to get scared nor to panic instead what I'm feeling is excitement and anticipation.

The sakura petals that were surrounding me awhile ago flew towards a certain direction which is towards a boy who looks older than me but not old enough to be cold as an old man.
