"Did we loose them?" Astrid asked Stormfly as they left Glacier Island.
"Great. You know girl, I love the time to ourselves. No annoying riders, no lovestruck Gustav and no Stoick to tell us what to do."

5 minutes later

Astrid and Stormfly landed on their island. Melanie and Snowstorm were waiting for them.

"Hey sis," Astrid said dismounting Stormfly.
"Hey, A. How's it going?"
"I almost died, twice, today."
"How?"
"A big, white, stupid dragon. That's how. What about you? How's home?"
"Jordan's chief and Mindy started dating someone," Melanie said.
"Who? Spill it now."
"Cameron Jorgensen."
"Mel, that's the one you liked."
"I know and I couldn't be happier."
"Why, what happened in three years?"
"He kinda broke my heart."
"Melanie, you don't need him."
"I know. Anyway let's talk about you and Dagur."
"We decided to act like we hate each other when the riders are around. Anywhere else we can act like we are a couple."
"Clever."

15 minutes later

"I never asked. Have you any news?" Astrid asked.
"Crescent Island has a new chief."
"Who?"
"Your old friend, Kathleen Sparks."
"Kay's finally chief?! I always thought Derian would be chief."
"You know the nations rules. First born becomes chief."
"In the South, it's males first."
"Sounds horrible."
"No this is actually horrible. Yak meat, noodles, water and milk mixed into a soup."
"Ew."
"I was forced to eat it and it was so gross. It looked like slime and smelt like rotting eggs."
"How can someone eat that?"
"I know."

The girls laughed as their dragons ran past them.

"What are they doing?" Melanie asked.
"I have no idea."
"Snowstorm!" Melanie shouted. She didn't listen. Astrid started laughing.
"Astrid!"
"What?"
"Alright, if you think this is funny. You have a go."
"Fine. Stormfly!" Astrid shouted. She came running over with a branch in her mouth.
"Drop the branch," Astrid sighed.

Stormfly dropped it and ran back over to Snowstorm.

"She listened," Melanie said.
"I know. I have her well trained."

Something landed behind the girls. They turned around to see a boy with bright, blue eyes and blond hair, riding a Monstrous Nightmare.

"Melanie, I've been looking everywhere for you!" he shouted.
"Sorry, Jordan. But I can have my space."
"Who's this?" Jordan said pointing at Astrid.
"Oh, come on. You don't recognize you own sister?" Astrid asked.
"Astrid?"
"The one and only."

He ran and hugged her.

"How's being chief?" she asked.
"Difficult. How's life on Berk?"
"Equally as difficult."
"Wait, Jordan, how did you find me?" Melanie asked.
"Narrowed down the places you would be and checked them."
"Smart."
"Hey, I've gotta go," Astrid said.
"Why?" Melanie asked.
"Hiccup will come looking for me."
"See ya," Melanie said hugging her.
"Promise me you'll come to visit," Jordan said.
"I will. Eventually," Astrid replied hugging him.

Stormfly walked over and Astrid mounted her. They took off towards Berk.
