The next evening

"Mel, what should I wear?" Astrid asked flicking through the room's wardrobe.
"Why, what's the occasion?"
"Dagur's taking me out to dinner."
"You finally asked a guy out?"
"Yeah. Now, help."
"Alright. What color do you prefer?" Melanie asked.
"Blue."
"Skirt or trousers?"
"Skirt."
"Casual or fancy?"
"In this case fancy."
"Give me a minute."

Melanie started going though the wardrobe looking for the items of clothing Astrid preferred. She took out a blue dress and silver shoes.

"Mel, you're a life saver," Astrid said.
"No problem. Go have fun and don't drink too much."
"Says you. All I have to say is last night," Astrid said walking out.

Five minutes later

Astrid was standing outside the hotel waiting for her date to come. Dagur snuck up behind her which made Astrid scream.

"Never do that again," she said.
"I was only having a bit of fun."
"Fun? You call that fun?"
"Yup. So, are you ready to go eat?"
"I guess."

Dagur lead Astrid to a restaurant on Crescent Island, Ubiquitous, which was the most expensive restaurant in the North Nation.

"Fancy," Astrid said amazed.
"The food is really nice in here. I went to discuss things with a cousin of mine here," Dagur said.
"Let's go in then."
"After you, Missy."

They walked in. Dagur checked for his reservation and the waiter took them to a table. Astrid picked up one of the menus.

"There's a lot of options," she said.
"I know. I hardly make up my mind either."
"We're defiantly getting wine right?"
"Yup. Red or white?"
"Red. I don't like white wine. It doesn't taste right."

"Hello, can I take you order?" The waiter said.
"Can I get... the chicken dinner?" Astrid asked.
"Of course. And sir?"
"The boar," Dagur replied.
"Is there anything else?"
"Red wine please," Astrid said.
"Your orders will be out shortly," the waiter said, then he walked away.

"He seemed a little impatient," Astrid said.
"Probably wants to go home to no one."
"Dagur!"
"What? There was no ring."
"He could have a girlfriend."
"I doubt it."
"I have heard the riders talking. They think that you would never get a girlfriend."
"They do?"
"Yeah, but they don't know about us."
"They still don't know?"
"Well, I've kept our secret for over three years now."
"I didn't expect that you would keep it for this long."
"Me neither but I have. I'm surprised at myself."

Later that night

"Thanks for dinner," Astrid said outside the hotel.
"Any time, Missy."
"I'll see you tomorrow then."
"See you then."

Astrid kissed Dagur before heading to her hotel room.
