First Day

Inhale... Exhale...

"Awww!" I cursed under my breath because I didn't expect that to happen.

This is your first day in school. Do not mind them. Do not ruin your day.

I touch the part where I got hit. And guess what?, I got a bump on my head. I turned to the man that is calling me for his soccerball.

"Hey nerd, give me my ball" he screamed because we're far from each other. Such a thick-skinned idiot. He didn't even mind to say sorry. So I just past through his ball and kick it out of my way. After that I heard him scream on top of his lungs.

" Hoy nerd, akin na yang bola ko. Yung bilog na may itim at puti. Tinagalog ko na sinabi ko kanina kasi baka hindi ka makaintindi ng English!" Such a jerk.

"PUNYETA KA! NAKAKAINTINDI AKO NG ENGLISH AT HINDI AKO TANGA PARA HINDI MALAMAN KUNG ANO ANG ITSURA NG BOLA NG SOCCER AT HIGIT SA LAHAT, SPHERE ANG HUGIS NG BOLA AT HINDI BILOG. 2D LANG ANG BILOG SAMANTALANG 3D ANG SPHERE!!! BOBO!" Isisigaw ko na sana yan sa kanya kaso ayokong magcause ng gulo. First day na first day eh.

Since it's Monday, meron kaming flag ceremony mamayang 6 so nagikot-ikot na lang muna ako sa buong Clarkson University since 5:45 pa lang naman. Tatlo kasi ang shifting ng klase dito. 6:30 - 11:30, 12:30 - 5:30 at 6:30 - 11:30.

I spotted 50 CCTVs at 30 guards wandering around  the whole University. So medyo high security naman ang school na ito. Perfect for temporary hiding place 😎. Why? Kasi kapag nasa highly secured school ka mas may tendency na doon maghanap ang mga 'enemy' na mafia namin at kapag low ang security naman baka isipin nila na nakadisguise ako, so perfect ang lugar na ito.

Halos memorize ko na ang mga exits at secret passages ng University na ito so in case of emergency, lamna.

Bumalik ako sa wisyo ng marinig ko ang announcement na iyon at tumakbo na papunta ng assembly hall habang hawak-hawak ang map ko, though nakabisado ko na halos ang lahat ng nandito.

*Assembly hall*

Umupo ako sa pinakalikod, and rightmost part ng hall hindi dahil yun ang kadalasang spot ng mga nerd but because kitang kita mo ang lahat ng tao sa assembly hall kapag nandoon ka. In short, mamamatyagan mo sila ng maigi.

"So, ladies and gentlemen please settle down for the ceremony will be starting in a minute. Thank you." Noong nakaupo na ang lahat, lumabas muli ang MC para pormal na simulan ang program. Matapos ang flag ceremony, nagkaroon ng discussion of rules and regulations ng school.

"Rule #1: mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ang paggamit ng mga patalim tulad ng baril, kutsilyo,tasers at iba pa."

"Rule #2: mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ang droga at paninigarilyo sa ating paaralan."

"Rule #3: No Cheating and Forgery"

"Rule #4: Irespeto ang student council officials, teachers and staffs"

"Rule #5: Ang ranking system ay hindi lang nakabase sa academic performance ng isang estudyante kundi pati rin sa iba pang aspects at tests sa kanya"

"Just obey these rules and everything will follow."

"That's all, thank you!"

"You may now proceed to your respective classes."

Hayssttt. Lima lang ang rules nila and I think medyo impossible yun para sa ibang estudyante, lalong- lalo na sa akin.

Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.

Hayssstt.

Di bale, hindi naman nila pinagbawal ang pag-inom ng mga alcoholic beverages. At least merong isa. Whoo. Makakasurvive din tayo.

Inhale. Exhale.

Hingang malalim.

Inhale. Exhale.

Madaming dumadaang estudyante ang napapatingin sa akin, maybe because they're not used to seeing gorgeous ladies like me.

"Aja!!! Fighting!!!"

I said to myself on my normal voice to make me look weirder.
