People ran to the car, guns in hand.
"What's happening?!" Vish screamed, terrified.
Ben seemed at the brink of a panic attack, holding back tears. He then took a deep breath. It didn't calm him down though.
"Hey sis... Those are the scientists. Let's get out of here." Ben told his sister in a quiet tone.
They jumped out one of the opened windows in a quick fashion. The scientists broke open the car after they had left.
"Ready to be animals?" Vish muttered running frantically.
The siblings turned right into the woods into a bush, but by the time they reached it... They weren't vampires anymore.
The fox and the puppy golden retriever ran into the forest before reaching the city. The two animals turned to each other. Them together might be suspicious so the thirteen year old came once again to pick up his new pet, Vish.
Strange yes, but a child with an animal looks adorable and innocent. Innocence is what the siblings were definitely required at this moment. He walked with her for about 2 miles.
"Ah no! A sunburn!" Ben complained, placing Vish on the ground.
She turned back to normal and looked at her phone.
"We're pretty close to the hospital actually. I brought sunscreen in my bag!" Vish said.
She took out spray sunscreen, sprayed herself quickly and handed it to her brother. Once they both had protection from the sun, the siblings continued on their way.
"So, it's just this way." The elder one said pointing to the left.
They walked for a little before seeing the hospital. The two walked inside and checked in. Or at least Vish did. After that, She and Ben went upstairs to Carlos's hospital room.
The place was huge and they were thankful to be given directions or they would've gotten so terribly lost. Ben spotted the room number, and the siblings went inside.
"Carlos! Are you okay?!" The 13 year old asked rushing over.
"B-Ben?" Carlos was very confused.
"Yeah... Answer my question!" The boy begged.
"I'm, I'm okay. I'll be heading home soon."
"Good. I feel the scientists will still be after me."
"Wait, the scientists?!" Carlos questioned, fear now seeping into his voice.
Vish noticed the mood dropping quickly. In efforts to change that she yelled.
"Yeah! But we got our animal forms!"
Carlos turned to her with a look of surprise.
"Really?" He whispered.
"Yeah! I'm a fox!" Ben yelled happily.
The oldest child there looked angrily at them. Though it seemed fake so Vish didn't tense or stress.
"Without me?! I thought we were friends..."
He wiped away a non existent tear.
