"Oh perfect..." Ben mumbled.
"What would you have done?" Vish challenged.
"I don't know! Definitely not what you decided to do!"
Both of them sat next to each other attached to machinery that was checking all their non human bodies. Both of them had their fangs being shown for days.
The siblings were annoyed and were forcing their feelings on the other.
"They could've like, interrogated us..." Vish muttered under her breath.
She was tired and hated the fact that she felt useless. Ben just wanted to go home. Had had been in this place before and it gave an unsettling feeling.
"Yeah, this is just extreme." He agreed.
The fighting was becoming pointless. They couldn't change the past.
"Like we're over a hundred years old!" He spoke louder so it was easier for the security camera to pick up on it. "We know about vampires!"
Vish and Ben became silent, waiting for a response. Nothing. Were the scientists... Afraid of them?
No other person had come into this room since hooking up the machinery. It seemed like the vampires were being avoided. Then what's the point of keeping them here..?
Wait...
"Hey..."
"Yeah Vish?"
She didn't respond until a few moments later.
"Do you feel like you're being drained?"
Ben's eyes widened. He caught on to what his sister was saying... But, there wasn't a way he could voice it.
There were eyes everywhere.
"They did look familiar..."
"You don't think.."
Vish and Ben looked to each other, practically ready to scream.
Carlos was finally ready to leave the hospital! He left on his own, as both Vish and Ben didn't show up.
"Huh weird..."
It left him slightly discouraged. Once he got to the house, the door was unlocked. He knew that Vish hated having the door accessible to everyone who laid eyes on it.
"Something is going on here."
Then, realization hit him like a truck. He remembered being told about them having to continuously run from the scientists...
"They were taken by them!"
Carlos started frantically pacing around the living room. He needed to figure something out. Where are they? How can he help? How long is it going to take? Did they even remember about him being in the hospital.
With all these thoughts in mind. The young adult was determined to save them. Vish and Ben were great people to be around.
"They're going to need blood soon!"
One way or another, Carlos was going to save his friends. No matter what.
