They were getting desperate.

It's been multiple days and Ben and Vish hadn't had human blood to keep them from passing put and eventually, they'd die. So, if they got to that point, the two vampires would probably become violent and attack a worker.

But so far... It seemed to her that it was her only reasonable escape plan. Well, it wasn't reasonable but it was literally the only plan that seemed it had a chance at working.

So the siblings would wait until their vampiric traits rushed in. Ben couldn't last as long as Vish without blood, so hopefully they didn't have to wait long.

The games began.

"Time for the game to begin," Carlos said stretching.

He couldn't believe he was actually doing this. Breaking into private property was definitely not his thing. This sort of action was something he imagined Ben doing.

"Blood? Check. Sneakiness? Check. Handsomeness? Triple check. Rope? Check."

He took a deep breath and left the house. It was one in the morning so everyone was inside their houses pretending they were asleep. No one should notice this.

Carlos drove and parked out of sight of the building. He ran and climbed the fence. It had sharp obstacles but there was a broken part of it by the side of the building, which was convenient. The vampire tripped and fell trying to climb back down causing some scratches here and there.

He got back up and looked around the building. There must be a weak point, everything has one.

Wait, I wonder if I can scale this wall?

Which at first glance seemed impossible, but with the help of Carlos's rope, it could work! So he started to work right away.

He made a loop at the end of the rope and threw it up and over the building. He tugged and with some luck, it attached to something!

The vampire climbed up and took his handy dandy rope which latched onto a vent thingy. Whatever it was, the young adult punched it and jumped into it.

If it didn't lead into the building, Carlos was probably going to die in that thing. Luckily, he didn't have to deal with the thought of death yet. But he did have another scratch added to his collection.

He checked almost every room looking for his friends, but it seemed as if his miraculous luck had vanished. Because now, he stood in front of someone he wouldn't exactly call his friend.

"Um, hi?"
