Julien keeps texting me throughout the day, asking for the updates Antonio is giving me. No way I'm going to tell her that the jury is believing Calvin and Roxy so far. Mr. Albright thinks that Julien needs to go onto the stand and tell her side of the story soon, or the whole trial might sink.
Julien: There's something I need to tell you
Emerson: Just finished up my last class. On my way. What's it about?
Julien: Bring Mr. Albright with you
Emerson: You're scaring me, J. What's going on?
Julien: It's about the heroin. It's the truth.
She's been lying the whole time? Did she remember something?
Was this actually her attempt to kill herself?
All the possibilities run through my head as I climb into my car to go see my sister.
