Julien's damage is much worse than I expected. She has four broken and one cracked ribs and a broken finger to top off the visible trauma. She's still unconscious, but that's mostly the doctor's way of letting her body heal.
Antonio and I still haven't discussed where we stand on this whole 'feelings' thing. Someone knocks on the hospital room door.
"Sapphire! What are you doing here?"
"I just came to support you. I know how hard this entire situation has been on you. I brought the rats for you to cuddle."
"Where are they?"
"Out in the car. I was going to take you out somewhere to get your mind off of this. You definitely look like you need a break."
She looks over at Antonio.
"You too. You guys look terrible. Come on. Julien is still going to be here when you come back. You deserve a break."
She is right all the way. I really need a break from this whole fiasco.
"Okay. But not for too long."
"Awesome, let's go!"
