He rubs his chin, hesitating.

"I can speak with the judge and let her in on the little situation. She has a history of being understanding. Maybe she will temporarily drop the charges and release Calvin and Roxy until Julien is returned."

"So Calvin and Roxy will be released?"

"Just temporarily."

"How do we know they won't flee?"

"I can convince a cop friend of mine to watch over them until we can get them back."

"If you think it will work, I'm all in for it. Just, please make sure that this won't come back and bite us in the butt."
