Betty and Veronica had their whole lives sorted out. Betty would marry Jughead and work as a journalist, while Veronica would marry Archie and work as a lawyer. Everything was going just as planned.
But what happens when their perfect plans start to...
Cheryl hated that scooby squad. She'd hated them for what seemed like forever. What did they do to her you may ask? Well, they annoyed her. They thought they were so heroic and humble, always thinking they were better than her. They pretended to be saints when all they were was a bunch of losers. But of course, she was the 10 times better than all of them combined. She had more money and more popularity than they could ever hope to get, and she would use every ounce of what she had to take them down. Why? Because she could, and because she hated them that much. She had loathed them since kindergarten, long before Veronica had arrived, but when Veronica did join them they became so much worse. Veronica was the worst out of all of them; Archie was the captain of the football team and Cheryl was the head cheerleader, so they were basically soulmates. Cheryl had come so close to getting him to fall for her in Sophomore year, but Veronica just had to come in and ruin everything by stealing him away for her own selfish reasons. Cheryl would never forgive her for that.
Even less so for what she had just done in the cafeteria today. No one had EVER spoken to her like that and gotten away with it, and as Cheryl was walking back to her table, she had already formulated a plan as to how she would get back at her.
As she ate, she glared at the group who was congratulating and praising thier little she-devil while looking all too happy with themselves.
"You may have won this battle", she thought to herself, "but you haven't won the war".
As soon as she was done eating with her horde of little minions, she got straight to work. She could afford to skip the rest of the day since her grades were basically perfect, so she walked out of school and went to her car. Her car was a beautiful red 1961 Chevrolet Impala convertible and had once belonged to her brother, but it still looked brand new. She didn't feel guilty about using it though, what since he was dead and all, because she knew that he would've wanted her to have it. Besides, she looked great driving it into school every morning.
Having arrived at her car, she opened the door, got in, and put her keys in the ignition. Upon hearing the all too familiar sound of the engine starting up, she closed the door and drove home. She knew her dad was away on a business trip and her mother was out gossiping with her friends about whatever was new in the town that they didn't approve of, so the house was clear and she had all the space she needed to put her plan to work. Veronica would pay for what she had done.
When she arrived at the Blossom mansion, she gave her keys to the butler (along with some money to make sure he told no one of her arrival) and went up the stairs to her room. She loved this room. Since her brother was the favourite child, her parents placed his room close to theirs so they could go to him whenever they pleased and keep an eye on him. But because both her parents disliked her, her room was hidden away in the attic of the mansion, away from their prying eyes. This made it easier for her to be discrete in her mischievousness without being interrupted. In this case, this was extremely useful.
She sat herself in front of her computer and started typing.
"Veronica Lodge" was the first thing she searched. For anyone else, this would've been a useless thing to search because no one is important enough to have their own article. But Veronica, being the rebel daughter of a millionaire, had her own wikipedia page. Cheryl didn't really know what she was looking for, but she had to find something she could use to her advantage.
