When Sunday morning arrived, Betty's guilt was eating her alive. She felt so miserable about what she'd done and said to Veronica and she didn't know how to make it better. God, all she wanted in the world was to make things better with Veronica. Ever since Friday they hadn't spoken at all, which also made Betty miserable. She needed her Veronica back.

It was Sunday morning and she was eating breakfast. Things were also awkward between her and Polly since that revelation in the hospital, and Betty didn't know what to tell her. I mean, her having feelings for her best friend was impossible right? And she wasn't gay.... Right?

"Earth to Betty!"

Betty jumped at the sudden loud voice calling from behind her. She turned around only to see her sister standing in the doorway.

"Oh... Hey Polly.."

"You ok?" Polly asked, concern in her eyes.

"Yeah why would you ask?" Betty answered confused.

"You've been sat there at the table staring at your slice of toast for 20 minutes"

Betty looked at the empty slice of toast in front her.

"Oh" she chuckled. "Yeah i'm fine, just a little lost in thought"

"Is it about Veronica?"

Betty paused and lowered her gaze; hearing Veronica' s name made her heart ache with guilt.

"I don't know how to make things better with her, P. It's like every idea I have isn't good enough and I need to do something big. I mean, I basically blamed her for Jughead's accident where he almost died.. How am I supposed to make up for that?"

Polly looked at her sister with sympathy. It was nice for them to finally have a genuine conversation; since Friday, things had been a little awkward between them. Polly knew that Betty had been trying to avoid her, but she was glad to see that that was over.

"Tell you what" She said. "How about you finally eat that toast in front of you, then we watch a movie. We haven't had a movie day in like FOREVER. Besides, you need to take your mind off of things for a while"

Betty chuckled at her sister's enthusiasm.

"Fine" She smiled. "But only if I choose the movie"

"Betty, Friends isn't a movie"

Betty laughed nervously.

"Psh I wasn't gonna choose that heh.."

Both sisters laughed. Polly went to the living room to set it up for their movie day as Betty finished her slice of toast. Both of them were really excited to spend some real time together; they used to have movie days all the time when Polly still lived at home.

In the end they decided to watch Mean Girls. I mean, why wouldn't they? That movie is a CLASSIC. As the movie started, the pair couldn't help but smile. Mean Girls really was one of the best movies ever.

Suddenly, about halfway through the movie, Betty shot up and started running towards the stairs leading up to her room.

"Betty what the fUCK are you doing?!" Polly exclaimed in shock as she watched her sister leave.

"I'm sorry I just got an idea" Betty answered as she ran up to her room.

Polly just sighed and kept on watching; no one can interrupt Mean Girls on her watch.

Meanwhile, Betty unplugged her phone from her charger and started typing.
