After the extremely boring school day was over, it was finally the weekend. More importantly, it was finally time for the party. And, although Cheryl was the host, the gang were really looking forward to it. It had been a long week and they needed a break, what better way to get one than to go to a party?
Pros:
- Alcohol
- Music
- Not having to worry about school
- No homework
- Not boring
Cons
- It was hosted by the devil.
See?? The pros far outweighed the cons. So they were gonna go and they were gonna have a shit ton of fun. All they had to do was avoid satan.
As planned, Veronica went to Betty's house after school with some clothes that they were going to try on, even though Betty told her that she had outfits that were perfectly fine for a party. Veronica answered that the clothes had to be more than "just fine"; they had to be perfect. Betty admitted defeat and just let her best friend do her thing; how could a few clothes hurt?
Meanwhile, the boys went back to their own houses and played video games until they had to get ready (well except for Kevin, Kevin was trying to decide what to wear). Archie was just gonna throw on his bulldog's blue and yellow varsity jacket, and Jug was gonna wear his favourite black jean jacket with a grey tshirt underneath (and his hat, he looks weird without his hat). They didn't have to dress fancy, but they knew that the girl's would be dressed to impress so they decided not to wear anything too trashy either. Everyone of them were gonna meet at Archie's place at 8 to then go to Betty's house (which was right next door) to pick up the girls.
[At Betty's house]
Betty exhaled loudly. "V, you litreally brought an entire suitcase full of clothes to my house... I told you already! I DO OWN CLOTHES YOU KNOW"
"Ok Betsikins but your clothes aren't.... Well my clothes are better. Now shut up and get to picking! We ONLY have 3 and a half hours left before the boys arrive so chop chop!!"
"Omg did you just call me Betsikins? Ok Ronnikins" She laughed. Veronica could be so random sometimes.
The pair opened the suitcase and started choosing. Jesus Ronnie brought a lot of clothes. They both agreed they'd take simple yet pretty clothes, because they knew the boys wouldn't bother to wear anything fancy. Besides, this wasn't a homewoming dance.
Veronica settled on a simple dark grey dress with a purple belt at her waist and black heels. Betty on the other hand wore a simple purple dress with black high heels and a shiny black purse.
Betty's outfit:
Veronica's dress:
"OHMYGOD BETTY THAT DRESS LOOKS AWESOME ON YOU" Veronica screamed as her best friend walked out to show her what she'd picked.
"Thanks V, we look BOMB in these outfits! We should definitely go out more together and be the best looking duo in town"
Veronica laughed. "Oh yeah definitely." She looked at her phone. "SHIT! WE ONLY HAVE 2 HOURS FOR MAKEUP"
"Relax Ronnie" Betty answered calmly. "That's MORE than enough time"
At 7:59, the girls were panicking.
"WE SOULDN'T HAVE LISTENED TO MUSIC SHIT I KNEW WE'D START DANCING AHH BETTY GET THE EYE SHADOW"
Betty ran to the suitcase Veronica had brought over and frantically searched it for the makeup, throwing its contents all around the room.
"I CAN'T FIND IT WHERE IS IT?!"
Veronica looked passed the bathroom door (where they were putting on their makeup), worry plastered on her face. When she saw Betty, her fear quickly turned to irritation. "wHAT ARE YOU DOING BETS IT'S IN MY HANDBAG DUMBASS"
"Oh right"
A few moments later, the boys arrived at the door. They saw that the lights were on upstairs so they knew that the girls weren't ready yet (if they were ready they would've gone downstairs to wait), so they rang the doorbell to let them know they were there and waited. Kevin was almost jumping with excitement to see what his girls were wearing, having himself decided to wear his favourite shirt and shoes. He looked fabulous
20 minutes later, the girls were finally ready. When Kevin saw them, he praised them for their outfits and told them it was totally worth the 20 minute wait. They said thanks and told him that they absolutely loved his shoes. After a little fangirling from all three of them (with the boys patiently waiting in the background; this was the drill) the gang was finally off to have the time of their lives.
They arrived at the house in the car, admiring it from the windows as Archie found a place to park. No matter how many times you had come to Cheryl's place, you'd never tire of seeing it. It was absolutely huge, basically a mansion, and the most beautiful household in the entire town. Heck, it looked more like a frat house for rich kids in university than anything else, but the Blossoms made it look peaceful and calm with their very well maintained gardens. No one could even imagine living there, since no one knew what to do with the space, but Cheryl owned the place and wasn't afraid to show it off to as many people as she could (one of the reasons she hosted so many parties). Her parents were out of town this weekend for a business deal, so what else could she do than party? It's what every other rich teenage kid with too much space and money to themselves would do.
They entered the house at 9:30, and people were already drunk off their asses. "How does this even happen?" They all thought to themselves. "Most of them have probably only been here for like 10 minutes". The place was absolutely full of drunk teenagers who were either making out or dancing, and everyone had a drink in their hand. Excpet for that one kid in the living room who was puking. Maybe he wasn't having so much fun. But he still had a drink in his hand.
Jughead took a step forward and turned towards his friends. "Right, well if i'm gonna get through tonight i'm gonna need a drink." He said with confidence. "Anyone want one too? No? Ok" He ran off. He couldn't be bothered to cater to anyone else right now, he'd have too much to carry.
"Wait Juggie-" Betty wanted a drink too but she wasn't fast enough; he'd already left. "Damn"
Veronica laughed. "Who would've known Jughead wasn't the perfect gentleman?" She said sarcastically. "Don't worry Bets, i'll go get a drink with you. Don't know about you guys but i'm parched". They both walked off together, laughing.
"Girls how DARE you abandon me at a party. That's like rule number one of besties: don't abandon each oth- Wait girls wait up!" Kevin quickly ran up to join them.
"Guess that means i'm on my own then... I can't look like a loner here, especially if i'm talking to myself. Oh look, the guys from the team!" Archie walked over to his fellow bulldogs who were already drunk and laughing abotu something that wasn't funny at all.
The party had now officially started and everyone was having fun, but Cheryl was in the mood for chaos.
