A/N: this whole chapter is going to be in Jughead's POV (yes I haven't forgotten about him)

"New day, same old me"

This is what Jughead Jones had been telling himself since.. Well.. Since his mom left with his little sister. You see, Jughead used to have a normal life. Well, normal-ish. He lived happily with his dad (FP Jones), his mother and his little sister (Jellybean) in a trailer on the border of the north and south side of the town. But the downward spiral commenced when FP was fired from his job and consequently became an alcoholic. He kept promising everyone that he'd stop drinking and get his act together, but the situation eventually got so bad that Jughead's mother left them along with his sister to go live with their grandparents in Toledo. Since then, FP stopped drinking and got a job at Pop's as a waiter. Nonetheless, there's been tension between him and Jughead ever since.

Well that was years ago, and today was going to be just like every other day this week. He woke up at 6:30 and put on the first things he could find, along with his all too famous crown beanie and old converse, and went to the kitchen to eat. His father no longer lived with him in the trailer, so no one was bugging him. He ate his cereal, went outside, hopped on his motocycle and went to school. See? Just like every other morning.

When he got to school, he went to Betty's locker to meet up with her. When he got there, the slot was empty and he remembered why; ever since that party at Cheryl's place, Betty has been spending all of her time with Veronica. Literally all of it. And he was getting sick of it. They hadn't had a one on one conversation in what felt like forever (the gang lunch conversations didn't count). Every time he went up to ask her if they could talk, just for the fun of talking, Veronica would get there first. He loved Veronica and all, but he wanted his girlfriend back.

So, having seen that meeting with Betty wasn't an option, he walked around and looked for Archie. Him and Archie had been best friends since forever, and although they had had a fallout that one time, he knew he could always count on him. They were basically brothers, and he wouldn't have it any other way.

He made his way around the school until he found him. When he did, he found him sitting outside at the table with his teammates looking increasingly uncomfortable as they asked him inappropriate questions about Veronica. Being his usual heroic self, Jughead went up to them and saved his friend from more humiliation and uncomfortableness.

"Oh god thanks dude. It's like they don't understand what bisexual is" Archie eye rolled as he walked away from them all with his best friend.

"No problem man.. What were they asking?"

"You don't even wanna know... They were like: since she's gay, would you guys do a threesome?? Have you already?? Wait have you guys even fucked? That would be awkward, but understandable since she's gay blablabla I swear to god they can be so retarded sometimes"

Jughead laughed, agreeing with the last part.

"Tell me about it. Do they even know what gay or bisexual means?"

"Probably not" They both laughed.

"I'm guessing the reason neither of us are with our girlfriends right now is because they're together again?" Jughead asked, his voiced laced with ever so slight annoyance.

"Yep probably" Archie was also a little annoyed by it, but he tried not to show.

"They spend more time with each other than they do with us nowadays man.. What's going on with them??"

"Yeah it's like they've been inseperable since that party back in september.. I mean, i guess i understand.." Archie's tone now becoming more serious. "That stunt Cheryl pulled must have been a huge blow to Veronica, and her and Betty have been through thick and thin together. I guess i understand why they're spending more time with each other"
