AN: Ooooh, I bet you guys were thinking I just had all these random characters for no reason, NOW YOU'RE ALWAYS GOING TO BE SUSPICIOUS OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT. Good. Because I put a lot of damn planning into this and I really hope it's turning out okay. How will you guys react when I tell you that there's like only 3 or 4 world's left? Or that this story only has like maybe 7 chapters tops left?

I should've expected that Hikaru wouldn't directly fight me. Instead, he calls to his stupid pet heartless and does some sort of weird magic to make it grow and grow until it takes up the nearly the entire room, and he steps back and leaves the dirty work for the now overgrown Shadow.
He was terrifyingly huge. His eyes still glowed a dark golden color, but now he had defining brow lines that made it apparent he was glaring, he looked almost humanoid. His two antenna from the top of his head had grown out and wrapped around his face several times, covering a snarling mouth. His claws were now giant and threatening, and in the center of his torso, a large heart shaped space was now entirely see-through.
"Fuck." It had to have been twenty minutes now. I just had to stall, right? Fine. I can stall.
'That's What You Get' begins blasting through my ipod speakers, and I jump into battle pose with the giant heartless. It's such a shame, I originally thought it was kind of cool that Hikaru had tamed a heartless.. now I see that it was just following him because he had dark power in him all along. Should've seen that one coming from a mile away.
"Let's see just how much you've changed, Rea!" Hikaru calls from the other side of the room, and I barely waste a glance in his direction before I notice Shadow's arm raising for an attack.
"Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck." I run to the corner of the room while digging into my pocket, searching desperately for a small vile that contained a very special potion. "Aha!" I yank the tiny blue bottle out and down the contents before tossing it away and making another quick get away from Shadow's angry claws. "Aerial potions are my BEST friend." With one, extra magic induced, leap-- I'm in Shadow's face, taking some hacks on his eyes, pushing myself back up with every swing, before gravity takes it's toll and I'm falling back down. His claws swing around in the air, and as I reach his feet, I'm slashing more and more and hoping I might be strong enough just to knock him over. "Firaga!" The heat on his feet causes him to lift it, toppling over and destroying a large part of the floor in the process. My heart is still pounding, and I run to his head and begin making more and more attacks, wishing I knew if I was even close to defeating this beast.
"Let's make this more interesting!" Hikaru lets out a laugh. No! Don't make it more 'interesting'!
The heartless begins to rise, large purple masses of glowing who-knows-the-hell-what in his hands. He aims for me. Time to run again. Left is out of the picture. Right is not even an option. Straight at him, it is. My feet have never hit the ground running so fast, and I'm beginning to wonder if it's really me fighting at all right now. I swing more at Shadow's feet, knocking him over once more. Straight for the head, except this time a quick lightning spell is enough to knock the heartless out for me to finish the job. With one last final swing, sweat covering my face, the heartless shatters and disappears right in front of me. I don't celebrate. I don't smile. Instead, I take my heavy breathed body, angry eyes, and determination and walk straight up to Hikaru, the boy who has apparently had it out for me ever since I broke off our stupid middle school relationship. He glares at me, his gold eyes showing no fear, and his heart no where to be found.
"You caused this, you know. You caused ALL of this." I muster out a laugh, mostly in spite, and hold my keyblade right up to his face.
"Next time you go pointing fingers, I will point you to the mirror." He brushes off my keyblade and walks to the center of the room.
